The Time Before
The people of Sigma Octavus were, for a very long time, a nomadic people. Their history is filled with bloodshed and mysticism, thousands of years of small bands slaughtering each other. All of this changed when one band rose up in numbers and might and took the entire desert that the people had roamed all those years for itself. They unified the nation under an iron fist, and quickly began seeking to bring the rest of the world into their control.
This brought on what became known as Operation Righteous Smackdown
The full history of this war had been marked from all libraries in Sigma Octavus, covering up it's dark history.
After the Smackdown
Sigma Octavus installed a new leader in the gap left by the former administration, a soldier named Hermili Chaknov. Chaknov lead the nation through a long period of great cultural and economic growth, turning it into a great nation recognized the world over.
Sigma Octavus kept true to it's people's nomadic nature and went from region to region, alliance to alliance.

During it's travels, it has gained many allies and relatively few enemies, turning it into a great nation with some of the safest and most intelligent people on NS Earth.
Currently, Sigma Octavus is a member of the Gholgoth brotherhood, having gained several important allies during it's time in the Allied Powers, including Automagfreek, founder of Gholgoth. It currently enjoys a position in one of the most powerful and feared alliances of current times.
