Basic Information

The Holy Republic IS a UN member.

The Holy Republic of The Fall3n is a very large, socially progressive nation, remarkable for its absence of drug laws. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 83 million enjoy extensive civil freedoms, particularly in social issues, while business tends to be more regulated.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, liberal government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Defence, and Education. The average income tax rate is 44%, but much higher for the wealthy. A healthy private sector is dominated by the Automobile Manufacturing industry.

Teenagers across the country are celebrating the defeat of a national curfew bill, The Fall3n's children are widely acknowledged as the most foul-mouthed in the region, scientists recently cloned the long-extinct feather-bellied Taou, and The Fall3n's educational system is the envy of many and regarded as a pinnacle of educational achievement. Crime is totally unknown. The Fall3n's national animal is the Taou, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Republic Credit.

Geography

The Geography of The Holy Republic varies extreamly on where you're at. Mountains run right down the center of the nation, dividing it in two. This has produced some very hostile political situations.

Major Cities

Atreyu: The first and largest Mountain city, Atreyu is mostly controlled by the religious sect of the Republic. This is where the Force was taught to the natives here, in the Crystal Caves located in what is now Downtown Atreyu. Temples line the streets, and the air is someone cleaner here. The Republic's current President, Derrick Denizen, was born and raised here.

Tusk: This is the city to where the corporations fled during the Great War. When the Jedi and the citizens of Kasar City drove them out, they fled across the mountains. The current President, Derrick Denizen, has opted to let them live here, untouched and away from society. The city is walled, and is mostly ruled by the major corporations there. Most immigrants end up moving to this city, and there have been recent reports of slaves being shipped in from the harbor, to work in the factories. The nation's leading industry, the Automobile Manufacturing Industry, is stationed here.

Kasar City: The Political center of the Holy Republic, Kasar City is home to 13% of the population of the Holy Republic. The city is very diverse, and is mostly crime free, due to the massive amounts of Temples recently popping up. As the nation's politics move more to the Left, and more to the Jedi way of thinking, so does Kasar City. The citizens, usually, would adapt, but there have been recent reports of Anti-Force resistence groups rising up in the slums of the City. Who knows where these groups will lead us...

Headlines!!!

1. Government changes name of The Republic to "The Holy Republic". Expected backlash from Anti-Force groups is intended to devestate the Nation.

2. President Derrick Denizen voted to kick Yondora out of The Dominion. Was this a smart decision, or is he leaving his Left-Wing princibles?

3. Insiders in Parliment say that the Government is trying to work out an Alliance with the vastly right-wing and corrupt Nation, "Lust for Kain". The Dictatorship is a scary place, ran by Corporations, and is much like how the Republic used to be. Will this change our government structure, yet again?
