The University of Kirkenes (U of K) is a public research university. With its main campus located in downtown Kirkenes and satellite campuses in the suburbs of Missisauga and Scarborough, it is Kelssek's largest university, with a total of over 70,000 students.
Academic rankings consistently place the university among the world's best and many medical advances were made by researchers at the university.
Colleges
Students in the Faculty of Arts and Science, by far the university's largest faculty, are members of Colleges. All teaching is done by the Faculty, while the Colleges take care of students' welfare and domestic arrangements.
