Re: Your changing of 'US Alliance' to "Union of Sovereigns"

The correct, official title is US Alliance, not "Union of Sovereigns". That is the way it ought to be appear in NSWiki. I ought to be the undisputed expert on this; I brought the three founding regions together on this project and came up with the name.

Hmmm. I based the title on the Charter and Moldavi's welcome thread. I'll be happy to move it back (or you can) if you can point me to a link.
Incidentally, thanks for all of your contributions - you're really helping to flesh out the Gameplay side of NSwiki. --Goobergunchia 12:18, 5 Oct 2004 (GMT)

There has always been some dispute about the name. "Union of Sovereigns Alliance" was what I came up with as a sort of prototype to something that would fit the acronym US Alliance. Unfortunately no one brought up a better name (even though I had meant for someone to do that) and nobody thought maybe "United Sovereigns" would be better, and it was adopted with little fanfare. Since the beginning the New Sparrowians wanted to call it the "Union of Sovereigns" in formal terms, but preferred to call itsimply "the Union". Because a Sparrowian created the message board that's what gets more spotlight.
It's no problem. If/when I ever get around to writing about the Atlantic (a project I've put off for almost a full year now, truth be told) I like to think it may be a major achievement for NSWiki. Until I get off my duff to do that I'll be happy working on all the other stuff, like the Pacific histories. That is, unless Frisbeeteeria totally eclipses me in every aspect :ph3ar:. K-stan and weapons

Goober, you might want to have a chat with Kaukolastan. He's created about 20 new Categories today, pretty much all having to do with subdividing weaponry. -- Frisbeeteria 20:49, 7 Oct 2004 (GMT)

While I would like to have helped with the creation of an organized weapons and technology database, it seems that my efforts at categorizing have not been appreciated. I am vaporizing my sub-topics as I type (well, before and after, that is). I'm going to kill all the links, and move the few articles I feel are truly NS related into the broad categories already existing. In addition, my pure-tech posts will be redirected to the full Wikipedia equivelants. Just trying to help in my area of expertise, so I'm sorry about the trouble.  :(

Blackbird/Cortath

Hey Goober, Blackbird/Cortath here.

This is fantastic...

Seriously, I'm "leftist" (let's be polite here) and the anarchistic feel of this community leaves me speechless. Amazing.

I'm happy to help out fleshing out gameplay. I made some minor changes to the RLA and ADN pages, hopefully I can do more when I have some time.

Pudding and 24.235.226.13

I dunno if this is the right place to bring this, but I read the bit on Admin and arbitration, and didn't know where else to stick this. I am the player behind SeOCC, Puddin being an amusing name associated with a particular picture of mine ...

Anyway, someone with the IP address 24.235.226.13 has been violating the neutrality policy; I refer you to the entries on Pure Evil and the entries by that IP address in the history of the CACE entry. If this is the wrong place to bring this up, please tell me where. Gracias.

Thank you, sir, I will head on over. Gracias again.

How to submit the logo I created to you?

I have created a logo, but I don't know where and how can I submit the logo to you. --James2spooky 08:57, 17 Oct 2004 (GMT)

DEAT DEAT!

Well, I figured that since you knew about the new policy and such (which stipulated DEAT), I thought you would remember. Especially because the pages had been emptied by the user. :) (which was, I believe, you.) Anyway, sorry.

I'll give a more accurate description then DEAT! the next time. -- |Knoot|KNOOtalk 01:05, 23 Oct 2004 (GMT)

Nations with underscores

Whittier created _Susa_ today, and it was created as Susa. Needless to say, none of the automatics work, and it could cause disambig problems in the future. There's also a something something Anime region that ends in an underscore, and their page actually points to a similar region instead. Can you figure out how to make leading and trailing underscores be recognized by the wiki, or are we going to have to use {wrongname} on them all? Frisbeeteria Θtalk 15:04, 23 Oct 2004 (GMT)

Vandalism

I'd just like to report some vandalism against my article Hampton’s Rules of Etiquette. I'm just about to revert to my saved edition. I would appreciate it if you took whatever action you feel appropriate. Thanks. Iansisle 20:55, 27 Oct 2004 (GMT)
