The Kingdom of Wegason is a huge, economically powerful nation, remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 843 million are either ruled by a small, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.
The enormous government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Education, and Healthcare. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Gambling industry, followed by Information Technology and Book Publishing.
Hundreds of thousands of convicts work as slaves in Wegason's many privately-owned prisons, citizens drive tank-like vehicles with mounted machine guns, CDs are regularly copy-protected, and it is illegal for police officers to carry out searches due to strict privacy laws. Crime is a problem. Wegason's national animal is the Fire Dragon, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Fez.
Wegason is the Founder and UN Delegate of Coconut Island and a Director of ACCEL. Wegason is also a NS General Parliament MP for the Classic Liberal Party.
