While the Committee is generally viewed as being an organization of the extreme right, its leaders have shown a great deal of skill at working with a wide variet of peoples on a wide variety of issues and at disguising their political activities through the use of political front groups or through involvement in actual united front activities with other political groups. For example, while the Committee is virulently opposed to feminism on issues such as homosexuality, gender roles and abortion, its members work with feminists in countless local anti-pornography campaigns. Similarly, while the Wide Awakes oppose immigration, especially non-Abrahamic and non-human immigration, they will often work with immigrant groups whose goals involve assisting already present immigrant populations in assimilating.

The Wide Awake Correspondence Committee is a conservative, religious organization based in the Commonwealth of Peoples which focuses on opposing reliance on non-humans for security, secularism, immigration, abortion, interfaith marriage and homosexuality and promoting human culture, social conservatism and religious faith. Although the Committee is dominated by Catholics, it claims to be open to other Christians and to members of the other two "Abrahamic faiths," Islam and Judaism.

Members of the Committee are active in a number of organizations including the Commonwealth League for Family Values, the Human Progress Association and the Coalition for Demographic Integrity. Many members were also involved in the Lanerian Friends of Pantocratorian Freedom, an organization dedicated to rallying support for the Pantocratoria First Party Government in Pantocratoria in 2004, when that Government was widely criticized in the international community. The Lanerian Friends of Pantocratorian Freedom dissolved when former Pantocratorian Chancellor Princess Irene "sold out" in the eyes of the membership by doing a joint speaking tour with then Danaan Minister for Justice Beatrice Wake. Many members are also active in the Fair Play for Iesus Christi Committee which stresses that it does not support Iesian policies but merely a more even handed approach to foreign policy on the part of the Commonwealth.

While the Committee is not fully supportive of the Government of Iesus Christi, it is alleged that it has some direct ties with Iesian authorities. This has never been proven but most leaders of the Committee have taken advantage of recent liberalizations in border policies to visit Iesus Christi personally and most have returned to report favorably on Iesian society or at least to say that the generally accepted reports of Iesian sentient rights violations are exaggerated. The Committee is not suspected to have any connections to any Reich governments other than that of Iesus Christi.

While the Committee is generally viewed as being an organization of the extreme right, its leaders have shown a great deal of skill at working with a wide variety of people on a wide variety of issues and at disguising their political activities through the use of political front groups or through involvement in actual united front activities with other political groups.
