The Year 00 Rearmament Plan is Bryn Shander's plan to replace it's aging space fleet with new, more capable vessels before completely re-entering the international arena.
- The first class of ship to be designed and put into production as part of the plan is the Kusanagi (FF-1593) class frigate, which is being constructed at the space fortresses Axis, Mathilde, A Baoa Qu, and Solomon. The first batch of 150 ships has been completed, and the keels have been laid for another 150.
- The second ship to be designed is the Trondheim (DD-637) class destroyer, which is also being constructed at Axis, Mathilde, Solomon, and A Baoa Qu. The Trondheim is heavily based on the design of the Kusanagi. 100 ships of the class have been completed, with another 292 under construction.
- The third class of ship, the Suiseiseki (CL-279) class light cruiser is being constructed at shipyards in Axis, Mathilde, and Forodren Annon. 50 of the cruisers have been completed, and another 50 have had their keels laid.
- Work on the CA-109 class heavy cruiser, BB-37 class battleship, and SD-06 class dreadnought is under way.
- A new generation of mobile suits is in the design phase.
- Two new fighters have entered mass production: The FA-01 Goshawk attack fighter and the FF-02 Sparrowhawk space superiority fighter.
- Work on the Galileo (SV-067) class, a new class of science vessel based on the Suiseiseki class light cruiser has begun at Pezun. The new vessels are designed to replace the old, unarmed Chronos class which required a small escort fleet for protection.
