Armour

Classified composite armour incorporating but not defined, includes treated steel with woven Titanium-Vanadium-Aluminium (TV6A4) plating and reported to be backed with ceramic plates for HEAT dispersion. A steel-backed kevlar spall liner is fitted on the interior. Heavy armour has been adapted over speed given the general size and and operational needs of the tank.
