W-IV

Wolke IV tanks are becoming the mainstay of the Shakal army. They are newly produced and easily surpass other modern tanks with ease. There are several thousand created annually by Wolke industries for the Shakal military. They are also exported to the armies of the Ungarnes Reich and Dudeman 666. Currently 2000 are in these countries with the former having 1250 and the latter 750.

Design

The Wolke IV main battle tanks combine the best elements of both Russian and Western tank designs. While the armor remains the same as the leopard's, the engine is modified with a hydro-diesel engine which is a basic diesel engine that utilizes heavy hydroxide atoms to add extra power.

Armaments

The W-IV is armed with a 140mm smoothbore turreted gun created by Sheona Armaments specifically for their new generation Shakal main battle tanks. The gun is auto loading reducing the crew and allowing the fourth crew member to be a tank commander.

Armor & Defence

The W-IV armor is the same as that of the Leopard 2A6. The only real difference is that is has much more of it. Third generation composite armor is used with high hardness steel. Between 145 and 155 millimeters is a 10mm gap of air and ceramic component to help absorb kinetic energy.
