The Resurrected Republic of Clandon or simply, Clandon, French: La République ressuscitée de Clandon Spanish: La república resucitada de Clandon , is a massive, devout nation in India, notable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its compassionate, cynical population of 2.281 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Religion & Spirituality, and Education. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Clandon's national animal is the cremeano, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the cor.

Geography

Clandon is located in the western part of India surrounded by the Arabian Sea in the west, The States of Bund and Amogh in the North, Some Martindia in the North-East, Berona in the East, Nepolonia in the South East and Aryavartha in the south. There are many mountain ranges in the interior mainly the Deccan, Western Ghats, Sahyadri and Balaghat. The Godavari and Tapi rivers originates and runs through the land. Clandon has an unusual climate: It is tropical in the west, semi-arid steppe in the central region and temperate in the east.

History

After the fall of The Empires of Quaristo, New Quaristo and Quaristua, it crumbled into small warring tribes. These tribes later formed themselves into politically seperate groups called 'Kingheends'.

There were nine kingheends: Cassia, Cantona, Calyssis, Cocos, Creme, Costa, Cilagi, Cranida and Cibara. Atlast, King Clandon II of Cassia Kingheend united all the other eight Kingheends to make the Federated Kingdom of Clandon. He then conquered Codavar and Creola which made up the 10 naviheends.

Later on when Kendradesh brought in the State Map Law, King Clandon decided to take Maharashtra and Goa and the same time made the kingdom a 'Great Franglo-Indian Empire'. The new provinces were: Capitale (Mumbai), Konkan (Sarca), Goa (Vasco), Godavari (Pune), Tapi (Nashik) & Vidharba (Nagpur).

King Clandon then wanted the flag to have a unique identity. He added the Seal of the Throne and the nation's name Clandon to make it more "Clandon-like".

Konkan was later renamed Sarcaterre and Goa was later renamed Santo Tomàs.

When Wulaishen became the Minister of Cartography, he gave the territory of South Gujarat to Clandon. Surat was absorbed in the Capitale province. He also proclaimed thet East Godavari and Vidharba are Martindian land. This is not true as historically this was, is and will always be Clandon's land.

Clandon later on seized the land back and drove the Martindians up north.

Clandon later on colonized the islands of The Andamans.

When Catlandatopia attacked India, the people of Clandon along with their leader escaped India and lived in The North Pacific. King Clandon along with his family died in The North Pacific. Chaos ensured in the country until Aryadesha gave some encouraging words which bought back the exiled nation. The nation was born a republic and therefore was named The Resurrected Republic of Clandon.

South Gujarat later on got their own province but both Surat and Vadodara wanted to be the capital. At the end, Surat won and the new province were known as Gujustan.

Later on, Dravidarya, Southwest Anuj-Shabham, a small part of the Vindhya region was annexed and added to Gujustan.

The President has supreme authority over the government. The governmental system is based on two charters: The Charter of Rights outlines the rights of Clandonian citizens and the Charter of the Councils give Clandon its legislative system, executive branch and judiciary system. The federal parliament is made up of the President and two houses: the elected House of Representatives and the appointed Senate. Clandon has four major political parties are the Conservative Party of Clandon, Liberal Party of Clandon, Partie Française De Sarcaterre and Partido Español De Santo Tomàs.

The Liberals are currently in power.

National Song

Look at the beautiful dawn breaking. The rays of the sun falling on our face. A new day is here And Clandon is here. O shine, O shine, My Clandon. Pride, Pride, Pride in our Clandon.

Pride, Pride, Pride in Clandon. Our glorious nation. The Cross guides our way.

Look at our glorious flag. Look at the blue and the pink. Look at the star with blue and pink.

We salute you, and God bless you. We, the people of Clandon.
