The Republic of Dunnathia is a country in the region of Pye that is positioned in the central area of the island, slightly to the north and east, and shares land borders with many other nations, including Bambeaner, Deziree, Empress Emily, Stheneliades, Wikipolitics, Tool Shed and Yataghania. The Republic of Dunnathia is a federal constitutional representative democratic republic, with its capital in Parnigonia, in the State of Pythagoria, geographically and politically located in the center of Dunnathia.
At over 3.7 million square miles (over 9.6 million km²), the Republic of Dunnathia (including its non-contiguous and overseas states and territories) is the fourth largest country in Pye by total area. It is the region's fourth most populous nation, with nearly 300 million people.
Dunnathia's regional influence is often referred to as "eminence grise," which is French III for "gray eminence." Politicially, this means that the nation has a high but somewhat unofficial influence on regional socio-political affairs. Dunnathia was the second or third nation to join the Council of Pye, depending on the historian that is providing the information.
