Pye is an Australia sized island region near the Tropic of Cancer. The climate varies a huge amount from its northern most point to it's southern most point. In its northern most point it is constantly a cozy 25*F with an average 3ft covering of light fluffy powder. The southern most part is always warm and sunny at 78*F with rain only on the hottest of days and during dry seasons... which are now wet seasons.

Regional History
The region of Pye has existed since November of 2006. The nation of November 2006 could be viewed as a commemorative nation for the creation date of Pye. Pye received a Wiki page on December 19th, 2006.
Regional Codes of Conduct
Conduct codes in the region are very reasonable. However, the following rules do apply pertaining to nations that are located in Pye, and its residents with high regional authority request that they be abided by:
- Follow the NationStates Rules of Conduct
and
- Each individual should limit the number of nations in Pye to one nation. You are welcome to place any additional nations in any of Pye's orbiting regions, such as Pyeraeus or Pye 2.

Pye is generally a peaceful region.
One current exception to that is a nuclear war (The Baltrion/MUSA Crisis) that has been happening for years between the nations of Baltrion and MUSA Warriors. The many nations of Pye have been attempting to bring peace between the two nations, with varying levels of success, although at the current moment there appears to be a cease fire between the two nations.
Regional Neighbors
Pye has two small islands that have been refered to 'orbit' it. Although they are stationary, Pyeraeus and Fenix are both off the southern tip of Pye in the more tropical climate. Neither of the islands are not very large, and both have at one point or another been colonies of the Pyeasian nations. Unfortunately the island of Pyeraeus was recently evacuated after a nuclear powered viking long ship (from MUSA) crashed into an ADHD Takomak reactor. The island was quickly declared a state of emergency and most of the citizens fled the island for the mainland of PYE. Those who have stayed are crazy, STUPID, or have a death wish... or maybe all three?
