Description
The Disputed Territories of Mafioni is a tiny, pleasant nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-working, cynical population of 5 million are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.
The medium-sized government appears to have no policy direction whatsoever. The average income tax rate is 16%. A substantial private sector is led by the Trout Farming industry, followed by Cheese Exports and Gambling.
Crime is moderate, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Mafioni's national animal is the Tommygun and its currency is the ION.
