Bedistan Premier League, 2081 season
Floral FC, under the leadership of Mike Davidson, had finally managed to win their first Bedistan Premier League title in 2080, and now hoped to repeat the feat in the 2081 season. Previous winners Alexandria were understandably fuming, having lost the league title to Floral on goals scored, and would be sure not to easily let Floral win again.
Replacing the three relegated teams from last season were New Haverford Albion, Jackson FC, and Brooklyn FC. Jackson had seen moderate success in the BPL several years earlier, finishing ninth in 2074 immediately after being promoted. New Haverford had competed in the BPL previously for only one season, 2067, which saw them go straight back down to the BFL First Division after a last-place finish. As for Brooklyn, it was their first season in the top flight.

Spring semester
After the opening weeks, the spring semester became the Alexandria-South Coast show, with a few other teams contesting third and fourth place among themselves. By the end of the semester, the top of the table looked like it came right out of a textbook: Alexandria, South Coast, Floral, and Rolestu, in that order. The relegation slots mainly held Charleston, Jackson, and Brooklyn, while newly-promoted New Haverford Albion were having a grand time, reaching as high as eighth place on matchday twelve before falling back to 15th by the midseason break.

Bedistani Cup
Bucks Lake Athletic was the club perhaps most closely watched in this year's Cup after pulling off a major coup and reaching the final in 2079 despite a sixteenth-place finish in the BPL. As it so happened, Bucks Lake resided in sixteenth at the end of the spring semester, leaving fans wondering whether this season could be a repeat. Obviously, other candidates for reaching the final were seemingly-perennial league champions Alexandria, last year's Cup champions Esto, who had a mediocre 6-9-4 spring semester and were in 11th place in the league, and last year's semifinalists Rolestu and San Diego, at the time 2nd and 10th in the league, respectively.
Early rounds
One of the biggest matchups in the first round pitted Jervis FC against South Coast United, and surprisingly Jervis pulled off an upset 3-1 victory to proceed to the second round, leaving South Coast fans fuming. But for a while it looked like that upset would be comparatively small change. Incredibly, Floral FC found the score deadlocked at 1-1 after ninety minutes against non-league RC San Antón, making Floral manager Mike Davidson very nervous indeed. Luckily, his team pulled through in extra time to pick up the 3-1 win. Likewise, Dennis also was held to 1-1 by non-league Cheongju United, but they became even angrier and fired three goals past Cheongju's keeper in extra time for a 4-1 win. Floral continued its rough start with another 1-1 draw, this time against First Division RKA Warriors; again Floral won in extra time. San Solari fell 0-1 to relegation candidates Carter in the third round, which also saw the highest-scoring match in the Cup: 8-0, Uk-Tow Ri United over Jennerstown FC.
Round 4
Round four had another big-name matchup: Sokojiwa City versus Rolestu. This exciting match saw the teams tied at two after 90 minutes, then they each picked up one more goal in extra time, sending the match to a penalty shootout, which Rolestu edged out 4-2. Bucks Lake's dreams of a repeat performance ended in the fourth round when they were unfortunate enough to face Floral, the latter winning the match 3-1.

Round 5
Of the sixteen clubs in the fifth round, only three were not from the BPL, and of those, only Navarre Town would reach the quarterfinals after an extra-time win over Dawson Springs. League leaders Alexandria fell in the fifth round as Floral continued their rampage, winning 2-1.
- Dennis Bears 3-1 San Diego Iguanas

Quarterfinals
Navarre and Floral would meet in the quarterfinals, and Floral wasted no time eliminating the last non-BPL contender with another 2-1 win.
- Dennis Bears 1-0 Carter FC
- Floral FC 2-1 Navarre Town
- Esto Wanderers 0-3 Rolestu FC
- Dionte City 1-3 Jervis FC
Semifinals
With Rolestu, Floral, Jervis, and Dennis making the final four, virtually all bets were on one of the first two. Floral held up their end of the bargain with their third consecutive 2-1 win over Dennis, but Rolestu's offensive cylinders failed to fire and they crashed 0-1, putting Jervis FC in the final.
- Dennis Bears 1-2 Floral FC
- Rolestu FC 0-1 Jervis FC
Final
At that time, Jervis had no Cups or league titles to their name, and Floral had only their Cup win from six years previously, so both were hungry for the win. The final match, though, proved to be no contest, and the final 2-0 scoreline was actually quite flattering to Jervis as Floral cruised to their second Bedistani Cup trophy.
- Floral FC 2-0 Jervis FC
Fall semester
As usual, Alexandria held the lead for the majority of the fall semester, but South Coast United definitely gave them a run for their money, briefly moving into first place on three separate occasions. Classic "Big Three" club Rolestu, however, didn't have the staying power this time around and would ultimately crash to a seventh-place finish. The biggest surprise of the semester was surely Griffin – even though they had in fact managed a fifth-place finish the previous season, nobody expected them to become a regular fixture in the top three. Defending champs Floral never even got close to the number one position this time, finishing third some seven points off the pace. Not that the race hadn't been close – at one point the top three clubs were all level on points with just seven games remaining. Many blame Floral's lackluster finish on an unfortunate matchday 26, where they somehow managed to lose 5-1 to 13th-place Esto; they never seemed to truly gain momentum again.
Brooklyn FC were the first club to be officially relegated, finding themselves seventeen points adrift of 17th-place Sokojiwa with five matches to go. Even though Sokojiwa had a ten-point buffer over the relegation zone at that time, their fans remained quite nervous, considering Jiwa had been nearly title contenders just a couple years previously. Charleston FC was the next club to drop, fourteen points behind Jiwa after week 34, and Jackson rounded out the trio one week later, never really putting up a fight.
