Rivalries

As with all great leagues, rivalries exist between various former BPL and BFL clubs.

  • Lolestu v Floral
  • Lolestu v Alexandria
  • Floral v Alexandria
    • The three main powerhouses of Bedistani football in the 2070s are constantly at each other's throats.
  • Sokojiwa Dosi v Sonovago Dosi
    • Being in nearby cities, it's only natural that these two be rivals.
  • Tallahassee v Esto
    • Again, geographical proximity.
  • Dawson Springs v Forest Hill
    • Nobody is really certain how this one got started.
  • Dennis v Midway
  • Carter v Midway
  • Dennis v Carter
    • On account of people frequently mixing these three cities up, their football teams are naturally trying to help their city stand out from the other two.
  • Justus v Navarre
    • Only recently developed, this rivalry stems from a public statement made by someone wondering how either of these clubs managed to make it into the BPL.
  • San Solari v Los Triesto
    • Again, geographical proximity.
  • Columbia v Sonoma City
    • The more successful teams from the two largest cities in Bedistan. Surprisingly, neither is currently in the top flight.
  • Justus v Jackson
    • Both saw tremendous success in BPL runs immediately after being promoted, both achieving mid-table finishes. Jackson was relegated a few seasons later, but now Justus hope to outdo them by staying up.
  • Ari v Port Lusambo FC
    • Geographical proximity.
  • Glückstadt v Fjordalen
    • Teams from cities with a surprisingly large German and Scandinavian population, respectively, cultural competitiveness is the main factor.
  • Khikhi v Beaagkh
  • Khikhi v RKA Warriors
  • Beaagkh v RKA Warriors
    • These three all hail from cities in former Khiousagahd and are fiercely competitive with respect to one another.

Crosstown rivalries

Alas, in most of these cases, the rival teams are separated by two or more divisions (in some cases, one is in the BPL while the other plays in the Conferences). Nevertheless, rivalries of a sort are still present.
