Eternia is a small region. It is inhabited by only a few dozen million people, in only a few nations.
History
Until recently, all people in Eternia were considered to be under the rule of what is now know as the Confederacy of Liberal Men and Women. However, people grew dissatisfied with the ways of the very non-obtrusive government. As such, new governments formed, starting with the Democratic Republic of Liilte China, which was "formed on a dare while drunk," and has since been renamed to the oppressed People of Liilte China, and most recently the Principality of the Daes Dae-Mar.
Each of the independant nations in Eternia claims the right to rule the entirety, each in it's own unique style. Thankfully, no wars have yet been fought over this, though most say that it is only a matter of time.
