The Firehelper Officer's Sword is a modified Jian of the highest quality. It is used by Fireheleper officers in all branches of the military and is renouned throught the world

Design
The sword is based on a traditional jian. Each sword is custom made by artisans of firehelper. They are eachunique with different patterns on the blade and handle.
Blade
The blade is made of steel that is forged with traditional techniques including: folding, inserted alloys, and differential hardening of the edge. This makes the sword very strong, and yet flexible adding to its limited combat value. The center of the blade has a Center of Percussion to balance the blade and make it more user friendly. The blade slowly tapers to the end with the last 6-8cm forming a sharp triangular point (based on user's order). It also decreases in thickness with the end being half as thick as the base. The blade uses a tang and continues into the handle providing strength against parrying maneuvers.
Handle
The handle has a horizontal handgard that is finely engraved with the design of a dragon. It is made of brass that is polished to a very bright luster. From this either the Tail or the Dragon's tail continues down the handle. (there are two one for each side of the handle and left and right.)The end of the handle has a round pommel with a hole. The middle of the hole is filled with a phoenix. It may or may not come with a tassel.
History
The Officer's sword is descended from the old Jians of Ancient China. It was created by a group only known as sword revival that re-spread the knowledge of sword making to the masses.
Designs
The designs are all unique and determined by a users preference. One of the simplest of te designs is a patchwork of colored metal. It is not, however, limited to this and may include a large amount of characters with the user's motto.
