MP-54

Developed by Firehelper Arms Ltd., this weapon is the main weapon of choice for support soldiers.

History

Like all other firehelper weapons, the MP-54 was developed at the beginning of its isolationist period. It was developed as the main use submachine gun/ machine pistol. It is a combination of various features from the FN P90 and the H&K MP5. It has thus far been used very effectively by various police groups throughout Firehelper and has helped in covert operations against rebels in Firehelper.

Design

The MP-54 fires a 6mm high velocity hollow point bullet (though full jacket ammunition is available). It can fire in either semi-automatic or burst mode. It uses a top-loading 50 round box magazine similar to the FN P90. Its blowback is to the rear in order to facilitate more accurate firing. The weight has also been increased to make the gun more stable due to inertia.

stealth abilities

The MP-54 comes with a built in integral suppressor that reduces flash and sound. A additional silencer can also be attached to the barrel to further reduce the sound.

sights

The sights are modular. The default sight is a Black 1.5x Reticle sight that does not require ambient light to operate. However it can also be equipped with a normal 1x scope with a red dot reference. One could also use a 1x, 1.5x, or 2x infrared or visible light amplifier night vision scope.

targeting

in addition to the sight there is a built in modular infrared or visible light laser. It has three modes of operation: off, low intensity, and high intensity.
