The official form of government of the Empire is an imperialist monarchy. However, the office of the Supreme Cordon and his party are the true rulers of the Imperium. The government is split into four branches: the Executive Counsel, the Legislative Assembly, the Judiciary System, and the Imperial Court


The Executive Counsel

Comprised of the offices of the Supreme Cordon (presently Miklós Hedikai); who leads the Tomanian Imperial Government, the office of the Deputy Executor, the office of the Minister of Law & Order, the office of the Minister of War, the office of the Minister of Propaganda, the office of the Minister of the Interior, the office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the office of the Minister of the Economy, the office of the Minister of Sciences & Technologies, the Imperial Security Bureau, and the Committee This body is leads the government of the empire and has supreme veto power over every other governmental station. Only the empress herself may ever override and executive veto. The Supreme Cordon is appointed by the Central Imperial Committee for life and has supreme authority over this branch, he, also, has veto power over all other stations of government he only reports to the empress.

The Legislative Assembly

The Tomanian Parliament comprised of the governmental houses; the Central Imperial Committee, which is split into three houses, the Imperial Senate, the Palace of Representatives, and the Colonial Magestarium. The Legislative Assembly deals mainly with passing laws and taxation The Imperial Government of Tomania is a single-party system. All other political parties are banned and are illegal. The Marduuk Party is the leading august body of the empire. To be a full member of the Marduuk you must have at least fifty generations of Tomanian ancestry and must be born in Greater Tomania. However, there are some exceptions. To be in government you must be a registered Marduuk and be at least sixteen years of age for males and at least nineteen years of age for females. General elections and voting are both banned in Tomania. (Also see Tomanian Law)


The Central Imperial Committee is the leading house of the Imperial government with seventy-two seats. Each Consular is appointed by the Supreme Cordon and holds the position until either they retire or are relived of duty by the Supreme Cordon.

The Imperial Senate is comprised of 146 members, three Senators for each of the 47 Imperial Provinces and one senator for each of the city states and one from the capital. Also, there are two representatives for the monarch.

The Palace of Representatives is comprised of 864 Representatives, the number of representatives for each province is different to each of thier respective population. This house mainly deals with issues of the empire consering provinces.

The Colonial Magestarium is comprised of nintey-six magistrates. Each magistrate is appointed by the Central Imperial Committee for unlimited ten year terms. This house deals with Tomania‘s Colonial Empire and appointed each Governor-General of the respective colony.

The Judiciary System

This governmental body is lead by the Fellowship of Grand Judicators. Dealing mainly with law issues of the empire, the courts, and dissent. Comprised of the Imperial High Court of Justice, the Military Tribunal, the All-Tomanian Extraordinary Commission to Combat Counter-Revolutionary Action, Profiteering, Piracy Black-marketing and Power Abuse, and the Imperial Court for Cultural Cleansing. Each Judicator is appointed for life by the Supreme Cordon, there are seventy-two Grand Judicators in the empire and each city of Tomania has at least one Judicator. All courts in the empire report to the Fellowship of Grand Judicators.

If a citizen is in court he or she may choose to be defended by a Procurator and will appear before either one, three, nine, or thirteen Judicators. The Judicators will hear the case, whatever it may be, is give the appropriate judgement or sentence to as they see fit. The judicators swear allegiance to the empress and two the imperial crown.

Imperial Court

Resided over by the matriarch of the im-Bashi dynasty, Empress Ishtar. The Imperial Court comprises of the aristocracy, in Tomania known as the Calaquendi, the nobility, known as the Úmanyar and the royalty, known as the Eldarie. The Court is not apart of the Marduuk system of governance. It is comprised of the monarch, the family of the monarch and of the three caste classes. (See Also, Imperial Court of the Holy im-Bashi)

Imperial Ministries and Ministers
