Jean-Pierre Durand was one of football's most elegant defenders of his generation, perhaps the classiest Starblaydi defender ever. Innate leadership skills and his touch on the ball were an awesome combination. He could read the flight of a ball and the thread of a pass as good, if not better, than anyone before or after him, a telling pass or two could unlock an opposing defence from forty yards away.
He had the honour of captaining his country in two World Cups, most notably in World Cup 20, which was hosted in Starblaydia itself.
