It has a quiet, industrious population who enjoy extensive civil rights and enjoy a level of social equality free from the usual accompanying government corruption. The country's population is ethnically homogeneous with no sizable immigrant population.
The medium-sized government appears to have no policy direction whatsoever. The average income tax rate is 18%, but much higher for the wealthy. An almost nonexistent private sector is dominated by the Door-to-door Insurance Sales industry.
