Sanadrianese Olympic Committee
From NSwiki, the NationStates encyclopedia.
The Sanadrianese Olympic Committee is a tiny, government-operated organisation in the Sovereign Village of San Adriano. It governs the country's participation in the Olympic Games, and is a honorary member of the Olympic General Council.
San Adriano's presence on the stage of international sports has always been described, by the small country itself, as "essentially symbolic". However, the Sovereign Village has, remarkably, succeeded in winning three Olympic medals (including one gold) to date.
The Committee doubles as the nation's de facto football association. Its current President is Alessandro Albani.
San Adriano's national sport code, as established by the Committee, is: SNA.
