The Jey League

The Jey League is a group of prestigious universities located within The Allied Empire of Jey which also function as a popular conference for sporting and other competitive events. The conference has admitted schools from both the tertiary and quaternary educational levels. The Jey League was founded in 4100 (JY) with the induction of the five original members, and then expanded to six with the inclusion of Zyzz University in 4155 after The Republic of Zyzz became part of the Allied Empire.
The 6-member group consists of some of the most selective and prestigious universities within Jey, and admission into one of these schools is commonly an academic pursuit of many students studying within Jey. The group does not admit new schools regularly, but, as seen in the case of Zyzz University, special occurances may happen in which new schools are brought into The Jey League.
