As would make sense, my username is the name of my primary nation. I also own a few other nations, including Tingitana and Pedriana. I first joined NS with Bedistan on June 1, 2003.
In terms of roleplaying, I tend to stick almost exclusively to sports RPs, having been a regular participant in the World Cup for about two years. Ironically, I have no athletic abilities whatsoever in real life, have never played on a competitive sports team, and actually knew next to nothing about soccer (or football, as I've taken to calling it after spending too much time with Europeans on IRC) before I joined NS.
I am the co-creator (along with Kaze Progressa) and maintainer of the KPB ranking system and former World Cup Committee president (WC22-24).
I can be found a pretty good amount of time over on #sport, where my username will almost always be either "Bedistan" or "Bedi|(something)", except on Sunday nights when my Hattrick match is playing; then my nick will include "Yuba" somewhere within it (team name Yuba United, named after the Bedistani domestic club of that name).
Outside NationStates, some of my interests include computer programming and mathematics. Also a possibly unhealthy interest in roads and highway systems. I also do some gaming on my computer, but not as much as I used to, mainly because my slani laptop has a tendency to crack under the pressure.
On NSwiki, I've now decided to become a warrior on the front lines against the second-biggest problem we have here: constant linkspam. If it happens and I'm browsing the wiki at the time, don't expect it to last long.
