The Western Football League is a professional domestic football competition in the Grand Dominion of Bedistan, located on the seventh and eighth levels of the Bedistani league system.

The Western League consists of two divisions of fourteen clubs each, named, appropriately enough, the First and Second Divisions. League play consists of a total of 26 matches for each club, as they play each other club twice, once at home and once away. Final league standings are determined first by points (three per win and one per draw), then by goal difference (goals conceded subtracted from goals scored), and then by goals scored. The First Division champion gets promoted to the next higher level. By default, the club is placed in the Bedistan Football League Conference North, but due to reorganization procedures used to ensure the geographical integrity of the lower leagues, a club may occasionally be promoted to the Conference South instead.
