The Federal Republic of New Felix is an influential and active nation in the region of Wysteria, best known for being the first nation to set foot on the moon (in a WSA operation), involvement in the Munishan War , and leading organizations such as the Wysterian Union (WU) and the Independent Wysterian League of Equal Nations (IWLEN). New Felix has one colony, Koivuusi, located on Ayansh.

Government
The Federal Republic of New Felix is a multi-party democracy, with an executive, legislative, and judicial branch. The right to vote is perhaps the greatest value of Felixans, and voter turnout is among the highest in the region. General Elections (Presidential and Parliamentary) are held every two years.
Executive Branch
The Executive Branch is led by The President and his cabinet. The President is responsible for the well-being of New Felix, and is in charge of managing economic affairs, foreign policy, and is the Commander-in-Chief of the Military.
The Legislative Branch
The Legislative Branch Consists of the Parliament, which is subdivided into the Congress and the Senate. There are 1000 Congressman and 100 Senators; twenty congressman and two senators per province.
A law can be introduced anywhere, but must eventually be passed by both sections, before being ratified by the President. The President can choose to veto a law, which then must be supported by 60% of congress to overrule that veto.
The Judicial Branch
The Judicial Branch is comprised of nine Supreme Court Justices, who are chosen by the congressional majority party and confirmed by the senate. In addition, New Felix is divided into 15 federal court districts, which are further divided into numerous local court jurisdictions.
Local Government
New Felix is divided into fifty provinces. Each province has an elected governor, legislature, a supreme court, and a state constitution that allows them to further regulate matters. Individual cities and townships have mayors and councils as well.
Political Parties
There are three major political parties in New Felix and several more minor ones. At local levels, political offices tend to be held by non-partisan officials, but provincial and federal offices are almost always partisan.

New Felix is one of the most urban nations in Wysteria; it has a total of 43 major cities with over ten million people within its limits, and millions more in the surrounding suburbs. Almost all of the cities are located in Northern Continental New Felix. Felixan Cities are designed in an ultra-modern style, with numerous glass skyscrapers, many parks, and well-funded public transportation systems.
Economy
In United Nations Reports, New Felix's economy has consitently made the top ten for fastest growing economy in Wysteria, and ranks at about 30th in the world. The economy is dominated by the automobile manufacturing industry, the largest company being Donnermachbeiten, a joint New Felix-Galicia-Volhynia company. The Information Technology sector is also very strong, ranking in the top 2000 in the world. The largest Felixan Information Technology Company is ComputerCity. New Felix also boosts a decent trout sector, with no companies readily dominating it. In all other economic reports, New Felix usually ranks in the Wysterian 200s. Almost all of New Felix's businesses are private, but receive heavy subsizidation from the government.

Geography and Climate
With about 35% of the nation within the Artic Circle, the northern parts of New Felix including all of Independence Island, Northern Continental New Felix, and Northern Clancion Island, can be described as having subartic climate, with long, cold winters and warm brief summers. The southern parts of the nation towards The Grendel border tend to have a northern temperate climate.
The Geography of New Felix varies by region. The southern part of Continental New Felix is mountainous wheras the northern part and the two islands are relatively flat. There are three major rivers in New Felix, the longest being the Eastern River, followed by the Northern River and the Xylia River. The largest lake in New Felix is Lake Xylia, located on Clancion Island.
Transportation

New Felix has one of the largest cellular telephone networks in the region with an estimated 4.9 billion mobile phone users.
There are 3,831 AM radio stations, 3,952 FM stations, 23 shortwave stations, and 41 satellite stations in New Felix. There are also 199 televison broadcast systems and an additional 8,000 cable TV stations.

Ethnicity and Race
New Felix is dominated by caucasians, making up approximately 85% of the population. The background of the caucasian population varies; about 70% have various Frankonian origins, 17% come from Bucephalian, Cascadian, and Draconian backgrounds, and the rest have origins that lie on other Wysterian Continents.
About 9% of New Felix is black; these peoples primarily come from Ayansh backgrounds when they immigrated to New Felix via the Felixan Colony of Koivuusi in the 1700s. The remaining 6% of the population come from over 100 Wysterian ethnicities.
Religion

Education
Education is considered the primary responsibility of the New Felix Government. The New Felix education system is managed jointly by both Federal and Local Governments, with the former providing funds and the latter overseeing the day to day operations. Education is compulsory for ages 5-18.
After age 18, students have a choice of either concluding their schooling or going to a university to further their education. Ninety percent of the students choose the latter. There are over fifty distinguished universities in New Felix alone, with millions of students also attending foreign universities and community colleges.
Language
Two languages are spoken widespread in New Felix. The most common, Felic, is spoken in unformal day to day conservations. Wysterian, which is compulsory to learn in school, is spoken at official events and during government meetings. Numerous other dialects and languages are spoken in small communities and towns.
Culture

Almost every city in New Felix sports a team to Ice Hockey, Basketball, Soccer, and American Football. The New Felix Soccer team is among the best in the region, taking the 2005 Wysterian Cherry Cup. Due to New Felix's Northern Climate, Ice Hockey consistently dominates TV sports ratings.
Baseball is also popular in New Felix, particularly in the southern parts of the nation.
