Legislative Branch
The Lesser Antilles Security Council acts as the legislative branch of the LAEC. It is made up of respected nations of the Lesser Antilles and has the ablity to vote on what laws are passed in the region. These are given to the council as bills which, if passed, passes to the executive branch who enact the law.
Executive Branch
The United Island Empires, as founder of the Lesser Antilles, is charged with executing the laws passed by the security council. The power the founder hold allows UIE to do this job where other nations could not. The LADR, when active, can be called in to act as part of the executive branch.
Three Principles of the LAEC
The three principles of the Lesser Antilles are:
- Wealth
- Sovereignty
- Regional Union
The United Nations
The Reason why the LAEC is against the United Nations is because they go against each of these principles. Bacause of this the LAEC is seperated from the United Nations, and no United Nations members are allowed in the Lesser Antilles.
Rules
When a country joins, it agrees to a few things, all designed to aid the economic power of the countries. They must:
- Agree not to go to war with anyone else in the LAEC
- Make sure all trade with other LAEC countries is free
- Help, wherever possible, in making the Lesser Antilles more powerful
- Aid other countries in the LAEC when they can
- Not join the UN
Membership
Membership used to be opional to any member of the Lesser Antilles. But, due to popular demand, the memship is now compulsory for all members of the Lesser Antilles, so to unify the region.

Also, all LAEC members may join the Antilles Yent, a single currency that will make trade and movement between countries quick and easy. This will make the Lesser Antilles an even more powerful economic region.
