The Quaestor position was created in June of 2003, under the Cabinet Reorganization Act, proposed by [[Thomasia]]; however, different times have had the Quaestor with different powers and duties. The Quaestor position was not one of the original cabinet positions under the first Charter, proposed by [[Marcus Isles]]; however, it has grown into one of the more powerful cabinet positions today. Before the modern Ministry system, the Meritocracy ran via a Committee system.
