The Spectrum was founded shortly after 17:00 on May 12th 2006. Its original purpose was to showcase the difference, or spectrum, between members I Know Better Than You and Calumnius. However, its purpose has since expanded. The Spectrum initially experienced fast growth before slowing down for a period of time. Recently however, growth has increased, although now it is showing signs of slowing down once again. The Spectrum's politics are generally anarchistic although a defacto democracy exists surrounding the UN delegate. There are few laws - although some members are trying to change that.

Others

In 2006, eight nations took part in The Spectrum Cup, a competition between the region's best football teams. The final was won by Dhatsun with Nintenduu 64 taking second place. There have been rumours of a similar competition to be held in 2007, now that The Spectrum has many more members.
