In 2025, during the URF Presidential Elections, anti-communist protests bagen trought all the country. Then, the protests turned into riots and a group of PP members entered the Presidential palace and shot presidential bodyguards. Then, the President left the palace with a military helicopter. Some minutes after, Alexis Hillaware, People's Party's President declared himself President of the "Rogue Nation" of Edward City.

Albert Mainzer's Capture
The new RNEC Air Force shot down a military helicopter near Work Damn you Work's frontier(2 miles away from WDyW). Albert Mainzer, who was at the helicopter going to New Moose City to meet with Kc4 was captured from the derelicts of the shot down helicopter. He was then taken to be tried in a military court. However, President Hillaware ordered the execution of Albert Mainzer for high treason and complicity with Communist nations. The sentence was scheduled for March 31.
Operation Free Bird
On the 31st March of 2025, 15 USEC loyal forces paratroopers landed at Bellavista Prison's rooftop on a rescue operation to retrieve Albert Mainzer and return him to a safe place.
Prostests against Albert Mainzer's Execution
While the operation was taking place there were protests against th exucution. Riot police were sent to dissolve the protest resulting in the deaths of 12 protesters.
Civil War
After an invasion by URF Forces, alongside Loyal USEC Military, Edward City has entered a state of civil war. The two sides are the Rogue Nation of Edward City, and the United States of Edward City along with various member of the United Region of Friends supporting the USEC. So far members of the Commonwealth of Edwardian Nations have remained loyal to the USEC and are providing troops and supplies.
URF Pullout
On April 2, My Political Arm, then outgoing president of the URF declared that the URF taskforce would leave sating "Terrorist coups are one matter, civil war to overthrow what was CLEARLY a corrupt dictatorship are a whole different ball game. MPA will not impede the sovereignty of USEC and condemns the use of any outside forces in what is essentially a war between Edward City and Edward City."
On the same day the USEC asked all foreign troops to leave. WDyW, agreed to pullout when the USEC could takeover security captured in RNEC. MPA will also sent 8,000 of its own troops for peacekeeping.
