The Marxist, Anarchist, Socialist and Syndicalist Alliance (MASS) was a left wing defender alliance operating from approximately October 2003 to March 2004.

The alliance's structure was very decentralised with representatives from each member region assembling on a forum and their puppets in the former MASS Alliance region. Operations were undertaken after a consensus was reached between representatives. This was, however, prey to inactivity and small numbers which directly led to the formation of the more centralised and efficient Red Liberty Alliance.

A Note on the List of Member Regions

The list below while comprehensive isn't a true reflection of the MASS Alliance. For example, the Urbanites were members in the earliest stages of the Alliance but the Urbanite puppet to the MASS Alliance region died and it became very hard to get a response from any of the leading members of the Urbanites. By the time of the fall of the MASS Alliance, the Urbanites were not members and Arnarchotopia was resident on the MASS Alliance forum purely as a private nation-state. Anticapitalist Alliance was also a member at an early stage and then dropped away before returning in their below-noted role as observers. Regions like The Lefts Nirvana and The USSR were small and active, contributing much to the life of the alliance, regrettably though their membership began to fail. Larger regions like Anarchy rarely did anything outside of converse on matters political with the MASS Alliance representatives.
