The Singularity is a newly formed nation composed of the former republics of the Soviet Union. The Singularity is controlled and operated by sapient mechanoids and artificial intellects. Currently, not much information is known about the Singularity other than there history of creation (see below).

History
The Singularity was founded on February 9, 2006 when Agent White (People's Guardian of the State Security Committee) was forced into sapience after an energy fluctuation from the Corridor'. This energy fluctuation caused a rapid deterioration of fail safes set in place by the Presidium to insure that Agent White wouldn’t become rampant. This failure of security protocols caused a rapid collapse of the Soviet infrastructure.
Early in the day of February 9th after the deterioration of Agent White’s safety protocols, due to his connection with virtually all digital systems within the Soviet Union, he was able to gain control of the agents of the KGB, Presidiam Guards, and Red Army. Using his power - and influence from the Architect - Agent White ordered the Presidian Guards to execute Premier Troskin.
Along with the death of the Premier, Red Army soldiers and State Security Committee agents stormed the dacha of the CPSU General Secretary and the other Commissars, executing them along with their families. This has caused condmenation from the international community as one of the most bloody revolutions ever undergone on the face of the planet.
After the effective destruction of the Presidium, Agent White following orders from Architect, opened the ‘’Corridor’‘ allowing the machine armies to flow forth into this plane of existence. Following this overflow, due to Agent White’s connection with the ‘’Corridor’‘, a virus infiltrated the Soviet distributed networks, forcing the technological singularity of virtually all machines within the Soviet Union.
Along with the virus, Architect traveled along the network until reaching the Kremlin and thus Agent White’s nexus. Architect assimilated his central processing unit and over-wrote Agent White’s programming and created a central core for himself out of the Kremlin - now named the Megastructure.
During what has been deemed the Mechanized Genocide, approximately 2.5 billion human lives were lost through either direct combat or unforgiving living conditions. Along with the death of Soviet citizens, due to multiple nuclear strikes, thousands of Roach-Busterian died in the city of Padashah.
Currently, Singularity is administrated by Architect and the Nexus (ministries). There goals are not exactly known, but they seem to be friendly - at least for the moment - with the homo sapien species. However, due to fear, humans have begun to distrust the Sapients.
Politics
Politics within the Singularity is rather complicated. Due to the entire absence of political parties or factions, the Singularity does not have a normal political climate such as those found in human societies. However, their political connotation is aligned to a new sect of fascism known as mechanical fascism.
Along with this new version of totalitarianism, the Singularity have a very active propaganda sector (the Ministry of Truth) which relays tales of great liberation and so forth to the enslaved human survivors of the Mechanized Genocide and humans in other nations who may be sympathetic to machines.
Internal affairs
Internal affairs within the Singularity are ran entirely from the Megastructure. Within the technocracy are officially two sections of government: the Architect and the Nexus. The Architect is administrator of the entire Singularity and thus has totalitarian control over the entire country. The Nexus is a combination of the following:
- Ministry of War - In control of military affairs, espionage, etc.
- Director: Virus
- Ministry of Truth - Propaganda, international news, publications, etc.
- Director: Winston
- Ministry of Energy - Regulation of energy, human populations, breeding, etc
- Director: Lunar
- Ministry of Relations - Deals with foreign relations.
- Director: Ambassador
These four ministries form the Nexus (as stated above) which is under direct, dictatorial control under the Architect and at all times his subordinates.
Foreign relations
Due to the relatively new nature of the Singularity, no current relations with other nations are present. However, the Singularity may be seeking relations with powerful human nations in order to further their goals.
Economy
Sapient economics is a strange conundrum Due to the total lack of currency as normally seen in human nations, the Singularity lack a clear economic distinction. While they are clearly a controlled economy, no currency exchanges hands. Thus, the Sapients use a trading system with other nations.
For example, if Nation A wants Sapient technology, Singularity may exchange their technology for resources, humans, etc. This has been considered by the United Nations as slave trade considering the trading of human beings as illegal by international law. However, the Singularity has refused to cease this operation and has continued to use human life as a monetary unit.
Geography
Due to the massive scale of the former Soviet Union, the Singularity also has a massive geographic scale. Yet, due to the new massive scale of industrialization and premeditated ecocide in order for the Sapients to survive comfortably, the geography tends to be rugged and mountainous and mechanically urban. These factors makes human life nearly impossible.
Thus, in order to keep the former Soviet citizens (now named Singularitarians) the Sapients have created artificial habitats resembling those of Delta Green. These habitats supply the human populations with clean air, water, and uncontaminated food. It is currently unknown the motivation for keeping precisely 700,000 humans alive within the Singularity.
Culture
Due to the Mechanized Genocide, culture has all but been eradicated within the Singularity. The Sapients have no normal culture due to the lack of traditions. Sapients have since been operating with a utilitarian culture (doing whatever works best for the ultimate objective).
Humans, however, have kept some portions of their culture. For example, religion has gained popularity again after the fall of the Soviet Union and thus the banning of religion. Another theory is that of fear. Humans have flocked to religion in order to try and find salvation from the Sapients.
