Surachai Buathiang is one of the most talented midfielders ever to play for Starblaydia. Naturally left-footed but with the determination and effort to be equally as good with his right, Surachai was touted as a wonder-kid at the tender age of 15.

He became Starblaydia's youngest senior Cap winner ever at 15 when he was called up to replace the imprisioned Paulo Bachchan in Simeone Di Bradini's squad for the second Liverpool England-hosted Four Nations Invitational. Surachai won three caps in that tournament, scoring his first senior goal against a side from Bedistan in a 2-1 victory. Starblaydia went on to win the final against Lethislavania 2-1, with goals from Steliopolous and Jakkinho.

Surachai played for a number of clubs in the Vilitan Stellar Division, twice winning the Foreign Midfielder of the Year award. He was an essential first-team member of the Starblaydia squad for World Cup 23, scoring in Eauz against Lethislavania in the Group Stage to give Starblaydia a 1-0 win. Along with such players as Gbenga Ogunniya, Syku Lyku-Agbayani, Zhorin Tumunzahar and Angelos Prokopsis, Surachai was part of the 'Vilitan Connection' of many Starblaydi international sides.
