Introduction

The T-2 Savage Heavy Battle tank is a land combat system featuring an impressive array of weaponry and was designed by Phoenix Dynamix for The Phoenix Milita's army.

Engine

The 2000hp PD XM-2000 Diesel-Electric Hybrid was designed for the T-2 and features a fuel cell battery back up. It was chosen as the preffered powerplant for the T-2. It should be noted that some models featuring the T-1's XM-1700 were produced and sold for a time, and even a few featuring the unique XM-1760 Gas-Turbine were built.

t2svg.gif The T-2 Savage Heavy Main Battle Tank features a 140mm Main Cannon, derived from the T-1 Scorpion, but it has heavier armor, and more missiles. Also an all new 6 barrel 56mm gatling gun( based on the T-01 VelociRaptor's 3 barrel cannon) is located in a separate top turret. The 56mm cannon was chosen over the M-14 Assault Vehicle's 4 barrel 30mm cannon during the orignal testing phase. Most production models featured the 56mm gatling cannon of the original specifications, however with the development of a ground based 6 barrel 30mm gatling cannon, a number of newer Savage tanks had their 56mm cannons replaced with the 6 barrel 30mm cannons.
