The Amazing Race 1 is the first installment of the reality television show, The Amazing Race. The Amazing Race 1 will feature twelve teams of two, with a pre-existing relationship, in a race around the world. Applications were accepted through 10th May, 2006. Filming ran from 2nd July, to 4th August, 2006. The season will begin with a 60-minute season premiere on 7th December, 2006, broadcasting in the Thursday 21:00 (AOTC+3) timeslot on the Pacitalian Broadcasting Corporation's PBC1 channel. Around the rest of the region, The Amazing Race 1 will air on Bazalonia's Baz7 network, Fmjphoenix's Fmj5, Lamoni's LBC, Andossa Se Mitrin Vega's ASMV-TV, and Amarenthe's ABC. However, most countries in the region receive PBC anyway and therefore will not need to broadcast their own feed of the show, instead showing a simulcast or a delayed feed of the Pacitalian transmission.
