The Baptism of Frost was the name given to the 22nd Baptism of Fire tournament. It preceded World Cup 35.

Each group plays a round robin of seven games. The best four teams from each group proceed to a knockout series.

Frosty Hollow

The final and one quarterfinal was to be played at Frosty Hollow, notorious for its inclement weather. To acclimatise the visiting teams, each played one game during the round robin series at this stadium near Rooty Break.
