The following is the average highs and lows for the four most telling cities in the nation. Delon, ND represents the Gulf cost, Los Diablos the Ocean coast, and Weis City the South Central areas. Kedalfax is in the Northern hemisphere, so the farther South you go, the warmer it generally gets.

A lot of percipitation comes across the Weis Mountains from the Gulf, causing the higher rainfall on the windward side of the mountains. The Gulf also stays a much more constant tempurature, due to various circulating currents.

The Western area of Kedalfax is generally quite dry, with the average rainfall being only 1 in. per month in most of the area.

The summers are much hotter than the East, with the average July temperature being 95°F.

The winters are a contrasting cold, with the average January tempurature being only 10°F.

The East

The Eastern climate is much milder, with average July tempuratures at 80°F, and average January tempuratures at 40°F.

The Kedalfaxian Flag

Flag Code

Much of the Flag Code is enforced, and in most cases violation will result in a small fine. Burning of the flag results in one week in jail.

  • If the flag is to be flown in Kedalfaxian Territory, it must be flown from the Prime position, defined as follows:
    • The flag is to be flown from a verticle pole, except when otherwise noted.
    • If the flag is to flown with another flag, domestic or otherwise, it is to be on the tallest flag pole in the group.
    • If it is to be flown on the same pole as another flag, it is to be positioned above the other flag.
    • If all of the poles are the same height, and an even number of flags are being flown, the flag is to be flown on the right pole of the center two poles.
    • If there are an odd number of flags being flown, the flag is to be flown on the ceter pole.
    • If the flag is to be hung at the sides of a podium, it is to be at the speaker's right.
    • If the flag is to be flown on a car, truck, van, or bus, it is to be flown from hood clips on either both sides or the driver's right side.
  • The flag shall allways be treated respecfully, no matter where it is.
    • The flag shall never be allowed to touch the ground. If it does, it is to be lifted quickly.
    • The flag shall never be flown at half mast unless ordered by the Chairman.
    • The flag shall be taken down at nightfall, and put up in the day, with the following exceptions:
      • The flag need not be taken down if lit.
      • The flag need not be taken down if permenatly affixed to its pole.
    • The flag shall be taken down by two people, who will fold it respectfully.
  • If the flag is to be flown outside of Kedalfaxian Territory, it is to conform to the local codes, unless otherwise stated in the above.

Nautical Flag Code

  • All ships in the Kedalfaxian registry are to have a Kedalfaxian flag flying from the fantail at all times.
    • This excludes personal watercraft.
  • All ships not of Kedalfaxian registry are to fly the flag of their registry in the secondary position while in port in Kedalfax.
  • All ships must fly the Kedalfaxian flag from the primary position wile in port in Kedalfax.
  • The primary position of a ship is defined as the highest flag position on the ship.
  • The secondary position is defined as the second highest flag position on the ship.
  • Kedalfaxian ships must comply with local flag positioning codes while overseas.
