This is probably what has caused it to become the regional super-power.  Thingamajiggers came into being when an earlier nation, Thingamajigs, ceased to exist.  The Rogue Nation of Thingamajigs dated back to the time of the original founding of Thorin.  Thingamajiggers and the Empire of Xerconia were once in a fierce cold war, although when it ended they became allies, although relations between the two powers were strained due to the large differences in the countries' ruling styles.  The national animal is the spotted eel, and its currency is the Modarch. The ruler of Thingamajiggers is known as the Karnbeln, and also, alternatively, as the Kickster.

The Kingdom of [[Makh Allet]] is a tiny, devout nation, renowned for its complete absence of social welfare.  It is a total dictatorship, ruled without mercy by the First Jingh, Azkabar Kanath.  There are some civil rights (a complete accident on behalf of the Jingh, the economy is good (although the Jingh warns the people that they may be reminded just how fragile the human body is if that soon doesn't become "excellent"), and political freedoms are unheard of (the person only exists to serve the government).  After Thingamabobber's totalitarian government collapsed, it was reabsorbed into Thingamajiggers.  However, the land stayed turbulent, and the citizens rejected the Karnbeln's rule.  Kanath managed to organize the many factions and establish himself as the leader of the region.  To avoid potential nuclear war, the Karnbeln allowed the region to secede once more (the people did not wish to live with "the traitors of Bobbers" anyway), although Kanath decreed that it would go down in Alletian history books as a deadly battle, which ended with Kanath slaying the current Karnbeln.  The current population of the country is 5 million.  Its national animal is the aquatic leopard and its currency is the vuttsit.

However, eventually the empire fell, and was replaced by a brutal government known as [[Pejite]].  Eventually, the population refused to put up with it anymore, and the resulting revolt led to the Communist country of [[Krushchuchk]]. Kruschuchk fell due to a series of events that began with Kruschuchk attacking a wounded [[Thingamajiggers]] and ended in [[Xerkunia]], the remnants of the old Xerconian government, restoring its former government. Xerconia was reborn, with the same authoritarian government as previously.  However, due to recent reforms, Xerconia has become a democracy - albeit a pitiful one.  Xerconia's population is 2.491 billion, its national animal is the assemblie plant, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the kreditische. The Terra Solva of Thingamajiggers is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, remarkable for its devotion to social welfare. Categorized by the UN as a "left-leaning college state", it has superb civil rights and political freedoms. Obviously the oldest place in modern Thorin, Thingamajiggers has a population of over four billion people, part of what has caused it to become a regional super-power. Thingamajiggers came into being when an earlier nation, Thingamajigs, ceased to exist. The Rogue Nation of Thingamajigs dated back to the time of the original founding of Thorin. Thingamajiggers and the Empire of Xerconia were once in a fierce cold war, although when it ended they became allies. However, relations between the two powers were strained due to the large differences in the countries' ruling styles. This eventually accumulated into war when the socialist country of Kruschuchk, an offshoot of Xerconia, reverted into its previous government. However, relations have returned to normal with Xerconia's switch to democracy. The national animal is the spotted eel, and its currency is the Modarch. The ruler of Thingamajiggers is known as the Karnbeln.

The Dominion of Unleimeks is a small, safe nation, notable for its compulsory military service. It is currently classified as a Iron Fist Consumerists. The citizens enjoy few civil rights and a very strong economy, but political freedoms are outlawed. The current population is about three hundred million. Its national animal is the red deer, and its currency is the guloran. Unleimeks was originally formed by an extremist group operating withing Lugonomeks that wished to invade Thingamajiggers. After the invasion began, Unleimeks split off to form its own country, and Lugonomeks, Xerconia, New Valhall, and Surkaph declared war. After the war, the government of Unleimeks must answer to the Thorin International Council.

The former UN delegate of Thorin, The Empire of Xerconia began as a Corporate Police State with few civil rights and almost no political freedoms. Xerconia was a highly extremist nation with low tax rates and wavering laws that always seemed to contradict, as well as a thriving economy matched only by Romborg, its fellow Zirconian nation. However, eventually the empire fell, and was replaced by a brutal government known as Pejite. Eventually, the population refused to put up with it anymore, and the resulting revolt led to the Communist country of Krushchuchk. Kruschuchk fell due to a series of events that began with Kruschuchk attacking a wounded Thingamajiggers and ended in Xerkunia, the remnants of the old Xerconian government, restoring its former government. Xerconia was reborn, with the same authoritarian government as previously. However, due to recent reforms, Xerconia has become a democracy - albeit a pitiful one. Xerconia's population is 2.491 billion, its national animal is the assemblie plant, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the kreditische. In 826 BF, Vandaruruk, a general of the Black Army, staged a coup and reestablished a dictatorship so as to effectively carry out war with Unleimeks.
