Revolutionised the Magistracy; Captain of the national football team

Genius and polymath who followed many interests and famous for her prodigious ability to take on responsibilities, snapier was the dominating public figure of her time in Errinundera.

Academic Achievements

Dux in all her years at the McKillops Bridge South Secondary College. Achieved the highest entry score into the McKillops Bridge Polytechnic where she studied for a Degree in Magistracy while playing for the national football side. Graduated with the top marks and deferred further study until her football career concluded. Thereafter returned to study and received a Doctorate in Law with her thesis on the Reform Potential Of and Within the Errinundrian Magistracy.

Career as Juror

On completion of her studies she became a Magistrate in McKillops Bridge where she became famous for her radical yet humane decisions. She quickly became leader in the upper house in the national parliament, a position she was to hold for over 20 years. To this she added the position of Dean of the Law Department at her alma mater, and eventually vice-chancellor of the Polytechnic.

Having established herself in these positions of influence, she set about completely revitalising the fusty role previously held by Magistrates. It was her view that the history and constitution of Errinundera were inexorably moving in a clear direction: towards greater indivdual personal and political freedoms while maintaining an absolute reverence and care for the environment. In her opinion it was not the role of Magistrates to uphold existing law but to continue the direction in which the nation was moving. This required an active, libertarian, humane and environmental approach to legal decision making. Further, any activity that threatened this path needed to be restricted and proscribed. In this she continued a strong magisterial tradition of being anti-business.

The existing Magisterial political interests proved unable to counter her extraordinary intellectual gifts and the power that she rapidly accumulated. Business interests were already so weakened that they could provide no opposition either. Errinundrians were so in awe of her that the Mayors rapidly gave her their support, effectively giving her sway over the lower house of parliament as well.

Under her influence all subsequent Magistrates were trained with an interventionist worldview. One of her legacies, considered miraculous by many, was the enduring popularity of her reforms among ordinary Errinundrians. This acceptance has led to the continued development of her vision for the nation. Many years after her death, the Magistracy is still a creature of the snapier vision. The built in attitude of continuous change towards an idealised future means that it remains radical and popular in this contrary and idealistic nation.
