The Good Guys was an alliance formed in late 2006 in the region of The Spectrum. It was created for the purpose of the invasion of Ediroth. The alliance's anthem is "The Heat of the Moment" by Asia. It was founded by Oldham Road and Sherylannia, and blossomed from there. On 8th June 2007, The Good Guys were disbanded and had a brief stint as 'The Great Guys' in which members of The Good Guys and The Good Guys Elite joined forces. This alliance soon faded away although many nations still claim to be Good Guys or members of the Elite.

Causes
Ediroth
The Good Guys, then Sherylannia, Oldham Road and White-Rose, invaded Ediroth with the intention of Oldham Road absorbing the dead lands, and to retrieve Sherylannia's materials.
THA FORST
Domas-Porada took over the lands of THA FORST in March 2007. There will be a meeting held between the four earliest members, Oldham Road, Sherylannia, White-Rose and Domas-Porada, to decide what will be made of these lands.
On the 11th March, it was decided that THA FORST would be renamed The Isle of Belial, and Domas-Porada would control it, with Sherylannia, Oldham Road and White-Rose keeping outposts on the edges.
On the 12th March a preliminary agreement between Domas-Porada and Mushy Pea took place. This agreement grants Mushy Pea control over the whole of the Isle of Belial, whilst other Good Guys would still be allowed outposts. Mushy Pea later renamed the Isle to The Sparkly Island of Bunnies.
On the 26th March, Mushy Pea officially withdrew her membership from the Good Guys, leaving them without a meeting place. Sherylannia's National Security Bureau served as a temporary base, until The Good Guys Elite was formed and Mushy Pea rejoined making The Sparkly Island of Bunnies the base of The Good Guys once more.
SATO
In March 2007, a rival alliance, S.A.T.O was formed in the Spectrum. The Good Guys co-exist with them, but it is far from peaceful. Oldham Road left The Good Guys, and cited S.A.T.O as one of the reasons.
The Good Guys Elite
In late March 2007, Oldham Road announced his resignation as UN Delegate without giving a definite reason. He left the position to either Buttery Boonswoggles or Mushy Pea. Shortly afterwards however, Buttery Boonswoggles too resigned from the UN leaving only Mushy Pea in contention for the Delegacy. Several meetings between Oldham Road and Mushy Pea afterwards revealed that they wished to form a new alliance. At the time Oldham Road was an unofficial member of S.A.T.O and Mushy Pea was the UN Delegate. An idea was later formed that this 'new alliance' would merge with The Good Guys leader Sherylannia and the three nations formed The Good Guys Elite. Spectrum Security Council member White-Rose was then invited to join. The real purpose of this alliance is shrouded in mystery due to Oldham Road's constant alliance shifting and their lack of objection to Good Guys members Daveanoyl Chloride and Don Flanioso taking over the Delegate postion from Elite members Mushy Pea and White-Rose. Although a quote supposedly said by Mushy Pea was released in an Oldham Road newspaper that the aim of the alliance was: 'to put a stop to current poopy ones'.
O Re Sa Ma
When the nation of O Re Sa Ma became available for invasion, Dhatsun and Mushy Pea fought over the land until UN Delegate Oldham Road settled the matter. The island was split in two, the north being held by Mushy Pea and the south by Dhatsun.
The Good Guys: The Movie
The Good Guys: The Movie was released in May 2007, to critical acclaim. Two sequels are in production, and a third is being considered.
SukiZuki
When the nation of SukiZuki ceased to exist, Sherylannia was promiced control. However, Dhatsun bombed the nation before it could be taken over by Sherylannia causing them to declare war. The Good Guys has since emerged once again to support Sherylannia's cause.
Meeting
The Good Guys have a designated meeting tower on the The Sparkly Island of Bunnies.
Trivia
- It had been joked that the flag of the Good Guys was that of S.A.T.O's on fire. In actuality, there wasn't one.
- On March 26th, four members left. These members were; co-founder Oldham Road departed, wishing to remain independent from alliances due to him being the UN Delegate of The Spectrum. Mushy Pea and Buttery Boonswoggles left, claiming the membership of The Good Guys to not be exclusive enough. They plan on creating their own alliance. Adoggo left to join S.A.T.O, although his membership in the Good Guys was questionable at best.
- Dhatsun was briefly a member of the Good Guys, after losing a game of poker.
- Oldham Road was supposedly completely and permanately banned from the Good Guys, although this was revealed to be a ruse.
- Daveanoyl Chloride left the Good Guys due to a belief that it had become an alliance purely based on war mongering and SATO bashing although the nation rarely had a good word for the opposing alliance.
