The Isselmere-Nielander Army (INA) is the ground component of the United Kingdom of Isselmere-Nieland Defence Forces (UKIN-DF). The commander of land forces is the Chief of General Staff (CGS), who represents the Army before the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) and upon the Defence Council.

Honorifics

Unlike most branches of the UKIN-DF, the INA as a whole does not bear the honorific "Royal", harkening back to the days when noblemen and knights of the shire were responsible for mustering forces. Instead, individual regiments or the administrative corps may bear "royal" in their title or another honorific.

The Administrative Corps

Administratively, the INA is divided into Corps, notably:

  • the Royal Isselmere-Nieland Artillery Corps (Field (towed) or Horse (self-propelled))
  • the Armoured Corps
  • the Army Air Corps
  • the Guards
  • the Corps of Infantry
  • the Logistics Corps
  • the Signals Corps
