The Capital Punishment Act of 2005 (2/3 (2005) Henr. 5 c.192) is a government-sponsored public bill that re-established the death penalty for serious offences such as murder or treason within the United Kingdom of Isselmere-Nieland. The Act is better known as the Bradshaw Law after Amelia Bradshaw, whose grisly murder prompted the bill (R. v. Carruthers). The government of Geoffrey Middleton tabled the bill for a free vote, with 429/68 ayes for and 102/34 nays against the measure's adoption.
