Overview
The Empire of Nojika is a massive, socially progressive nation, renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 1.875 billion are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Social Equality. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 42%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing, Gambling, and Arms Manufacturing industries.
Nojika's national animal is the Panther, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Credit.
History
Nojika, as it was and is still called, has always been a beautfull land. Even since its days of ancient and inferior technology native Nojikans have always held a high respect for their land. Northern coastline is very tropical. The rest of the nation is changes as the season changes. Starting in the center of Nojika and moving to the east are the Roenoch Mountains which provide snow year round. The southern portion of Nojika is filled with undeveloped rain forest.

National Government
The Empire of Nojika is ruled currently by it's father, Emperor Brakiss. The Emperor has absolute rule of the people and the land of Nojika and rules with the aid of Lord Kahal, Grand Vizier Baskar and various other aids and governors.

Foreign Government
Upon declaring himself the Emperor, Emperor Brakiss gave full governing rights to a select thirteen people over certain parts of the Atlantian Oceania region, calling them Moffs and Grand Moff. These governors serve as diplomats to nations within their district and as the commander of all military activities within their district. Of the thirteen, only one of these Moffs was named Grand Moff. The Grand Moff oversees the activities of each Moff throughout the region.
Politics
The Emperor's decision is suprmeme in all cases. The Grand Vizier, however, often oversees and runs the day to day government activities. The Empire is often viewed as very decentralized in that much of the power is given to the Moffs and Grand Moffs.

Military
Nojika's pride is in its military. Though not required, many young men will join the military academy and serve their country. Many choose to serve for 10 or more years and do so out of tradition. Nojika currently maintains a modern to post-modern tech. military, spending a quarter of its GDP on both Defence and Law and Order.
Lord Kahal is the Supreme Commander of the Nojikan Navy which is the nation's pride. Unlike many countries, Nojika does not have a standing air force; rather, Nojika's Navy contains roughly 80% of the military's aircraft.
Army
General Kwinn is the head of Nojika's army which is made up both infantry and mobile attack vehicles. All Nojikan infantrymen wear the same suit of full body armour that covers them head to toe. The armour may defend a soldier's body from light attacks but is unable to stop projectiles from close range. Most recruits will serve as a soldier for a few years before being promoted or discharged.
