Paul Noble was one of the greatest-ever Starblaydi Midfielders, known for his stunning dead-ball and crossing abilities, work-rate and leadership skills. He went to four World Cups (26, 27, 28 and 29) and won ninety-six caps for his country, the all-time record for any Starblaydi player.
Paul was seen as a figurehead or poster-boy for Starblaydia, particularly under the regime of Lady Viannor where he was touted as personally representing Starblaydi society's values. He was used in pro-government propaganda throughout his career and was selected as Captain for World Cup 29 for both his political influence and his on-field leadership. He had previously captained the Under-21s.
Paul Noble was undoubtedly one of Starblaydia's greatest servants, and is one of the few players to have scored a hat-trick of three goals in a World Cup Finals match, when in the World Cup 29 Group Stage, Starblaydia defeated Rejistania by five goals to two, with Jacqueline Maitland and Johan Keifner scoring the other two goals. He also scored Starblaydia's second penalty in the World Cup 28 Final, where they defeated Bedistan to take their second world title.
Though he was, quite rightly, Starblaydia's captain when they defended their title, he could only lead them to the Quarter-Finals.
