Pedro Rujano was a highly-skilled midfielder who played for Starblaydia in four World Cups, excelling in the central and holding Midfield roles. Unlike his predecessor in the role, the great Georges Blanc, Rujano was not a highly combative, 'wrecking ball' style player, but was likened more to a surgical tool: one who nips in when the time is right to take the ball and nothing else.
His début for Starblaydia came in the 12th AOCAF, in which as a fifteen year-old he made two substitute appearances as Starblaydia claimed Third Place over Druida. Another two Bronze medals came his way from World Cup 27 and the Second Draggonnii Inviyatii Invitational tournament, hosted by neighbours Andossa Se Mitrin Vega. He scored his first two goals in the Inviyatii, against Hypocria and Cuation. A year later he would score the third penalty in the World Cup 28 Final against Bedistan, crucial in a 7-6 win over the reigning World Champions at the time.
Undoubtedly his own personal career highlight came when he was named as Captain of the Starblaydi Olympic team for the Ashford Games. He scored one goal in the tournament, the fourth of a four-nil opening game win against Quakmybush, and featured in every one of the eight games Starblaydia played, going undefeated throughout the tournament. He earned his medal and lifted the trophy, crowning yet another glorious Starblaydi achievement in the hotly-contested Football event.
Along his career he took part in teams that finished First, Second and Third in the World Cup, along with a Quarter-Final finish in World Cup 29. For this he is undoubtedly one of Starblaydia's greatest players of all time.
