Geography
Starblaydia are a relatively young nation in the Grand History of NationStates, having a population over just over 1 Billion people.
With ten provinces, Starblaydia encompasses the territory formerly owned by the Holy Empire of Nemya to its east. A Mountain-City of Dwarves, exiles from the nation of Cockbill Street, also have residence in Starblaydia.
To the north-west border lies the Loose City-State Association of Nova Britannicus, a puppet of Starblaydia, while across the Bekk lake to the west lies the nation of Druida.
Starblaydia is active in both the Sport and Military side of NationStates, on the Jolt hosted forums and those of its Region, Atlantian Oceania.
Sport
On the sporting side, Starblaydia are currently one of the top Under-21 World Cup teams, as well as recently Qualifying for their second World Cup. They were recently defeated 3-4 in the 3rd Atlantian Oceania Cup of Association Football (AOCAF) by NEWI Cefn Druids, three-time winners. In AOCAF4, however, in Starblaydia itself, we once more met and this time defeated NEWI Cefn Druids 2-1 in the Final. Regional Champions are we!
They are ranked 21st in the World after their Quarter-Final exit to Melmond in the 17th World Cup. They also qualified for the World Cup 18 Finals, but went out at the Group Stage by just a single goal to Iansisle, huge sporting rivals. The Starblaydia Under-21s are seeded 4th for the 7th Under 21 World Cup and currently in the Semi-Finals, while Starblaydia also co-hosted the Pre-WC18 Baptism of Fire with Vilita for the second straight tournament.
The Starblaydi Football League contains three divisions (Alpha, Beta and Gamma), which incorporate 21 teams in total from Starblaydia and Nova Britannicus. Current Champions are Iskara Daii, who won a Regional Invitational Tournament, as well as getting to the Knock-out stages of the Melmond Invitational.
The Starblaydia 'Rayzors' Ice Hockey Team won the last Cherry Cup, and the 6th 'Don Cherry' Cup is now in it's Second Round, with Starblaydia having qualified from Group Two, which included Liverpool England. They now face such legends as Kalaallit Nunaat.
The National Ice Hockey Incorporated League (NIHIL) contains two Divisions, East and West, each containing 7 teams. The Starblaydi Dwarf population is known to like Ice Hockey, as they can overcome their natural... physicality... to become much more graceful on the ice.
Finally, Starblaydia was recently voted into the Nationstates International Olympic Committee. Yey.
Military
As far as military goes, Starblaydia are the current President-Nation of the Atlantian Oceania Regional Defence Organisation (AORDO) and take an active role in that Organisation.
Starblaydia maintains a current/near future Military, and spend over a quarter of their GDP on the military, with another quarter on Law and Order
