Nunzio Gre holds a joint-record for number of Under-21 Caps held, along with Gbenga Ogunniya, having competed in 23 Under-21 World Cup games for Starblaydia. He was the Captain of the greatest night in Starblaydia Under-21s history, when they defeated the Nedalian Lions to take the Under-21 World Championship on its 14th edition.
He soon went straight into the Starblaydia national football team side for World Cup 23 where he was the only player to play in every single game in Qualifiers and Finals for Starblaydia. He scored his first ever international goal in Extra Time of the Second Round match against Total n Utter Insanity.
Nunzio may be the first player in history to captain both an Under-21 World Cup and a World Cup winning side, something which very few ordinary players have managed to do, never mind captains. Other possible candidates could come from Bedistan, Rejistania or Vilita, but research suggests that Nunzio is the first player to acheive it, making him the shining star of Starblaydia's Golden Generation.
For this acheivement he was immediately nominated to the World Cup Hall of Fame as Starblaydia's fourth entrant, somewhat controversially over Jean-Pierre Durand.
