This page lists the current nations of the region of PEEL in greater detail in order to display better information about each nation as not every nation has their own individual article (or hase completed it) This page was also used to remove a huge chunk from the PEEL page itself, to reduce the size.

Major Powers

  • newcyberiatiny0eu.png New Cyberia - The Greater Cyberian State of New Cyberia is the capital and founding state of the Greater Cyberian Union (GCU). New Cyberia follows a free market democracy government, and presides over many colonies and territories throughout PEEL. New Cyberia is one of the strongest and oldest active nations residing in PEEL, with a large proportion of it's citizens hailing from overseas. Heralding a strong and stable economy as well as being in a geographic paradise, New Cyberia is currently at logger-heads with neighbours Zedoljev.


  • zedoljevtiny6ye.png Zedoljev - The People's Tchazanovite Territories of the Greater Zedoljan Soviet is a term covering four separate Republics in the heart of the region, but is named after its foremost Republic - Zedoljev. The People’s Republic of Zedoljev inherited territory from the collapsed nations of Wells-Ville and Mayatland and brought a Socialist-esque "Council Based Democracy" to their former citizens. Zedoljev retains perhaps the strongest ties to nations outside the region, in particular with the Urallian Homelands, being originally descended from ancient Urallian colonists who ultimately unsuccessfully tried to colonise the whole of the Morbo Bridge. Despite a period of high respect and standing in the region, Zedoljev has become one of the more isolationist nations in PEEL, and the only firm ties Zedoljev has to other nations in the region, and beyond the boundaries of the Union of Soviet Tschazanovite Republics are with fellow left-wing nations, such as Nurdbotia and Pastocia and few others. Founded COMECON with Nurdbotia, and was a proud member of MuDeAl, but left both shortly after the Phillip's Head Invasion and subsequent backlash. Zedoljev has a proud history, with strong religious background and a reputation for a very powerful military.


  • slimmytiny2eq.png Slimmy - The Imperial States of Slimmy is a harsh dictatorship, having spread itself around the region. Business is the number 1 priority in Slimmy, and as such the rights of the people are on a strict need-to-know basis. Ruled by a series of Emperors and Empresses since the beginning, Slimmy has a number of interests in the Tri-Island Area. Governmental activity has dwindled lately, but the Imperial States of Slimmy are still going strong.


  • nurdbotiatiny1an.png Nurdbotia - The People's Republic of Nurdbotia is a powerhouse Communist nation, and possibly the oldest nation still in existence. Follows the strict guidelines of Communism while having one of the strongest economies in the region. Nurdbotia is a fairly benevolent dictatorship, with most civil rights guaranteed. The Nurdbotian Red Army has incredible numbers, and although their equipment is not as high a standard as most, it is certainly formidable. Nurdbotia is the original founder (with Zedoljev) and 1st Administrator of COMECON, and while members have come and gone, Nurdbotia is still chugging away to keep the Communist dream alive.


  • teraltiny6dg.png Teral - The Federal Republic of Teral was once a highly militaristic nation ruled by it's military leaders. Under the military leadership, the free-market economy blossomed, and eventually the military gave power to the people in a bloodless handover of power. Teral is now a democratic Capitalist state, and as such has one of the most powerful economies in the region. Military service is compulsory in Teral, being one of the great traditions in Teral. The Terallian Guard is varied and well equipped, and is very important in Terallian culture.


  • dvorakiatiny0bs.png Dvorakia - The modern-day, democratic, incarnation of the great Vjorakian Empire of the New Asian isthmus, The Federal Republic of Dvorakia is a multi-cultural and progressive liberal nation renowned for high defence spending (an anomaly resulting from conditions agreed to at the cessation of the 2017-2021 civil war.) Dvorakia is a federalised republic consisting of 11 member states, all with a wide variety of differing political parties and opinions. The nation boasts a contrasting topography of rolling plains, alpine ranges and fjordal shores, and it's meandering coastline, with its myriad of bays and harbours, plays host to some of the region's busiest maritime hubs. The creation of modern-day Dvorakia in 1948 marked the end of almost 50 years of oppression of the Vjorakian people at the hands of the Holy TheMadCapperian Empire and subsequent territorial expansion and economic success has seen Dvorakia assume a position as one of the region's pre-eminent powers, boasting an enviable record on such matters as human rights, personal, political and economic freedoms.


  • ivorilatiny9sm.png Ivorila - The Unicratic Republic of Ivorila is a unicratic republic state that follows a unique political system called Unicracy. Unicracy follows the principles that all people are the politicians, and as such, every major decision made in Ivorila is voted on beforehand. While sounding overly bureaucratic and nonsensical, the electing of representatives to important positions keeps it simple. Boasting world benchmarks in civil rights, political freedom, and economic strength, Ivorila is the most expansionist nation in all of PEEL, having personally absorbed over half a dozen neighbours, making it one of the largest nations in the region. Ivorila is also the founder and member of the AUIS.


  • mdkcorptiny6af.png MDKCorp - When dealing with the Corporate Plutocracy of MDKCorp, it's wise to think of it as less of a nation, and more of a company the size of a nation. Formed in the ashes of Totalnerdonia, Nerdor and The Stone Bear, conglomerates from outside the region purchased the area and assembled themselves as a nation as a form of tax write-off. Ruled formally by an elected Senate, it is widely acknowledged that all executive power rests in the anonymous MDKC Board of Directors, their identities formally known only to other Heads of State. MDKCorp also occupies the largest physical territory in PEEL. Often ruthless in economic matters, MDKCorp also has a highly trained military, the Para-Security Forces led by Executive General Johnathan "Jack" Davidson.


  • sargustiny7cv.png Sargus - The Greater Kingdom of Sargus is a unicratic constitutional monarchy, with a parliament responsible for day-to-day affairs. Unusual for humans, 90% of Sargus lies in underwater cities that are all self-sustained. Freedom-loving and often distrustful of authority, the Sargish have a strong Naval presence in the Tri-Island Area and are not afraid to fight for their sovereignty. Sargus has a strong ethnic Ievurlazkant background and is one of the larger members of the AUIS and has very strong relations with Slimmy, ironically. The current monarch is Regent-Princess Isabella VI.


  • nixorbaniatiny4bb.png Nixorbania - The Holy Economic Dominion of Nixorbania is a heavy handed economic dictatorship with strong ties to Teral. Ruled by a single man, the Patrician, Nixorbania has long been one of the most influential powers in PEEL. The people of Nixorbania are very cynical and oppressed, and confess to live "very dreary lives" if pressured. Nixorbania claims to have the largest and most powerful nation in the region, but this claim is as of yet unconfirmed. Once commanding huge territories over PEEL, Nixorbania has fallen from glory after the sinking of the Patrician into recluse, but it still wields plenty of power.


  • freealliedstatestiny4dm.png Free Allied States - The Combined Economic Community of Free Allied States is not so much a nation as an alliance organization. Five separates states formed a pact to support the others in times of war, and the Free Allied States were born. Considered overly paranoid by many other nations, the Free Allied States is odd in that it has no ties to any other nation. The leaders of the Free Allied States reason that this is because it is in itself, an alliance of nations. The relatively lax government is often inactive, but has resulted in a powerhouse economy.


  • spifflandiatiny3qn.png Spifflandia - The Democratic Republic of Spifflandia is a fairly typical Western democracy, something that makes it a rarity in the region. Spifflandia is very stable politically, economically and socially, and the current political party in power is the Green Party in Coalition with the Social-Democratic Party. Spifflandia is very tolerant and respectful of the rights of others, something greatly reflected in it's people, the Spiffs.


  • unimatrixtiny8pd.png The Unimatrix - The Collective of the Unimatrix is a mysterious and enigmatic nation ruled by the single-minded Borg. Free thought and individual will is nothing more than a dot on the page of history for the Unimatrix. The Unimatrix is certain the entire region would rather be under the great collective of the Borg, but often has problems getting the other nations to realize this. The Unimatrix will occasionally co-operate with other nations, but when their usefulness has come to an end they become part of the great Collective. The Unimatrix has been in hiding for the last few years, but one thing is for certain: they will come again.


  • tweeklandiatiny6wg.png Tweeklandia - The Rogue Nation of Tweeklandia is a huge nation with many acheivements and wars under it's belt. Unfortunately a recent and untimely fire at the DROOP headquarters burnt most of the files on Tweeklandia into ash, and with the recent unco-operative stance of the Tweeklandian government, these files are yet to be replaced. Their leader currently spends his time looking for ways to banish leaders of the Syndicated Unicracy of Ivorila and blaming it on women.


  • uralliatiny7bv.png Urallia - The Greater Empire of Neo-Urallia is terrorist organisation-cum-world superpower, taking its name from one of the largest ancient empires the world had ever seen and hoping to match or even surpass its size and power. Exploiting the instability of their own region - the Urallian Homelands - the self-proclaimed Sons of Urallia quickly grew in power and influence off the back of collapsing countries, through espionage, clever manoeuvring, and sometimes even brute force. Famous for using rag-tag forces to bring down mighty opponents and setting enemies against each other in fatal duels, Neo-Urallians have a history of "liberating" and "adapting" the resources and technologies of their victims, and over the years, this has led to some frighteningly advanced technology that could be placed in the hands of a (mostly-competent) single military force greater in size then many of PEEL's armies put together. The Ancient Urallians once had a claim in PEEL but all but a few (those who became the Zedoljans) were eventually driven back as the Empire collapsed. It is the hope of the Neo-Urallians that history doesn't repeat itself in quite the same way. With much of the former Urallian territory on Gehenna reclaimed, the Neo-Urallians are looking to repeat the process in PEEL, and despite several failed attempts, the Neo-Urallians only get stronger with every day.

Minor Powers

  • Anubinia - Anubinia, one of the oldest nations in PEEL, is a nation steeped in religious servitude. Ruled by a class of living Gods, the Pharaohs, Anubinia just recently came back into the PEEL political arena after centuries of isolation. Recently, it founded The Holy Dominion and was defeated in the subsequent Dominion Wars which ousted the tyrannical leader, Supreme Pharaoh Set, from power. Currently being led by Pharaoh Thoth the Wise and the democratically-elected "Hall of Representatives".


  • Athiaca - An ancient nation located in the Western Spur. Once a thriving and powerful empire led by a Warrior Caste worshipped as living Gods, it was conquered by the Anubinian Empire thousands of years ago. A bloody war soon followed, which annihlated Athiaca and crippled Anubinia. The was believed lost until the year 2055, when researchers discovered the underground Capital of Lithens, and proof that the Athiacan Empire still exists...




  • Burning Flame - The Borderlands of the Burning Flame is the odd-one out in the U.S.Ts.R in as much as it is not necessarily a Tschazanovite nation. It is however regarded a Protectorate of Zedoljev, and so is a proud member of the Union. Ironically considerably larger than Greater Zedoljev. Formed in the crumbling ruins of Burgermeister, it recently acquired large tracts of land off the collapsed society of Paran


  • Buscemistan - The First Tribunal Republic of Buscemistan is a series of islands several hundreds of miles off the western coast of the Morbian Bridge. Recent Buscemistani history has seen the end of the Grand Sultan's reign as Head of State and the introduction of a democratically elected Tribune.


  • East Talaman - East Talaman is the economic powerhouse of the GCU. Containing one of the financial capitals of PEEL, Retone, East Talaman provides the bulk of the wealth which powers the Greater Cyberian Union. Originally a neighbour of New Cyberia, its predecessor Talaman collapsed through government corruption. At the time, the MuDeAl was the major force in the Region, and it was decided to give New Cyberia, a MuDeAl member, part of the land permanently. This became known as the province of East Talaman. However, once it was seen how well this province was progressing under Cyberian management, a referendum held in the remaining territory gave a resounding YES vote to joining New Cyberia.


  • Endway - Actually a glorified military base rather than a true nation, Endway Naval Station is managed exclusively by the Cyberian Naval Force. While this means that comparative to other true nations, especially its parent New Cyberia, its civil and political freedoms are somewhat restricted, its key strategic position at the southern-most tip of the Farnsworth Glacier makes it an important secondary military command post for the CNF (after New Bedwyn in New Cyberia itself).


  • The Republic of Geomyidae - A proud nation with a history of extreme isolation. Inevitable industrialization has begun to force them into the international market, but the local language provides a cultural buffer. Despite government resistance, greater PEEL culture is insinuating in the Kingsland district, particurlarly in the capital city of Geomys where Peel Common has almost entirely replaced the native language Rodentian.


  • New Alphania - New Alphanian is the youngest and most embattled of the GCU states. Its recent history was plagued by conflict, with the nation of Cybrania originally existing on its land. However, when the MuDeAl summit attack occured in 2044, new President Jack Baruk declared war on the terrorist Cybranians, vowing to prevent similar attacks from occuring in the future. What followed was a heavily one-sided campaign where the poorly organised and equipped forces of Cybrania were wiped out by the AGCU and CNF. After the fall of the weak Cybranian government, a Cyberian administration was brought in to manage the state's recovery. This has included offering subsidised material costs to businesses willing to help rebuild damaged infrastructure.


  • New Altron - New Altron is widely regarded as the most conservative (right-wing) of the GCU states. Its name, like many of the other states descends from an ancient Cyian clan who were absorbed by the Cyberians. Occupying a largely barren area just south of the Farnsworth Glacier in the Far East, New Altron remains fairly introspect but its natural resources make it an important asset for the GCU.


  • New Betronia - New Betronia is a very traditional GCU state. While perhaps not as conservative as New Altron, New Betronia maintains a far less liberal climate than its parent state. The site of the GCU space programme as well as a key Cyberian Aerospace manufacturing plant, New Betronia does offer fantastic beaches.



  • North Wells-Ville - Formed out of the northern half of the state of Wells-Ville following the collapse of that state, North Wells-Ville's borders were drawn up in mutual cooperation with Zedoljev. This level of cooperation meant there was virtually no dis-order when the government of Wells-Ville did finally collapse. However, dark times are upon the entire nation of former Wells-Ville. The escalation in conflict between Cyberian President Jack Baruk and Zedoljan Premier Aleksei Zveyvonyev has meant that the border between North and South has become heavily fortified, with the most recent development being the posting of an entire army of the AGCU to patrol the border. Many suspect that full-out war is inevitable, and should it come to blows North Wells-Ville and the Zedoljan provinces of Vellsandia and Villiya would take the brunt of the fight.



  • Pastocia - The People's Socialist Republic of Pastocia lies in East New America and has suffered a lot in it's relatively short existence. Pastocia suffered war and invasion but is beginning to show signs as a world power since recovery and revolution. Pastocia was recently invaded by the Obsidian Order, but has a clear history as being a leader for the smaller nations, being the founder of the short-lived Greater Pastocian Socialist Alliance. Is currently the 2nd Administrator of COMECON after the departure of the Syndicated Unicracy of Ivorila. Is known for playing a more centrist role in the COMECON, providing a parallel to the more extreme leftist countries in the alliance. Current leader is Third Consul Matthew Gregory.




  • San Fredlando - Historically famous as a City State trapped inside Zedoljev, ran as a Principality. San Fredlando's very recent history has seen the country change drastically. This included a nuclear explosion that destroyed large areas of the city, the ending of the Principality and the coming of a Communist state (followed by its entry into first COMECON and then the Union of Soviet Tschazanovite Republics) and various overseas territories.


  • Shmuel Rabinovitch - An extremely devout nation of the Shmueli faith, worshipful of Shmuel Rabinovitch, God of the Oceans. It is believed the Shmueli people have inhabited extreme north of Ilkuknuis for many centuries, living in quiet seclusion until very recently. For nearly all its known history, Shmuel Rabinovitch was an absolute theocracy, but in recent years democratic reforms have been introduced.




  • The Crunge - A confederation of like-minded island nations on the former site of Nogori-la dedicated to the cause of a Socialist society. Recently admitted into COMECON


  • The Yeti Nation - A loose coalition of tribes of a sentient species known as The Yeti. The Yeti are large, hairy, mammals, who are incredibly intellegent and are known for being highly territorial. Recently, the Republic of Yugopatomia fought a bloody war against the Yeti for control of a colony in the East Farnsworth Glacier. They joined Set's "Holy Dominion", but were forced to surrender by Zedoljan and Bamonian troops. Currently led by High Chief Mekgrash.



  • Uudestaan - Technically one of the oldest nations in the entire region, Uudesans claim to be direct descendants of the survivors of the Great Climatic Change in the north of the region, over 10,000 years ago - and they claim the state of Uudestaan (roughly translated as "New Land" - a new start after the Great Climatic Change) has existed ever since then. Uudestaan has been mostly inward for that period before entering major regional politics only in the last few years - including playing a significant role in the Dominion Wars where she fought a bitter struggle against invading armies of the Obsidian Order


  • Votsinaname - The descendants of migrant sailors, who became known as the Trium people, first settled on Votsinaname at least 5’000 years ago. As there are limited written records do not exist, the origins of the Trium are virtually unknown, and the only known fact is that they were leaving a nation (name unknown) that was in serious trouble. There is a long held view that the island’s name came about because the leader at the time could not think of a suitable name for it. Votsinaname’s supreme legislative power is currently the Lord Protectorate Leo Alyssium, who succeeded his father Jan Alyssium III recently. A relatively new country still finding it's way in the PEEL region.


  • Waaaaarrghlandia - A massive amount of humanoid beasts known as Orks have taken position of a large amount of land in snowy East America. So far they have only one major city, the capital Maxibig. Apparently their leader is an Ork called Big Bozz, Krusher da 4th. They seem to use cobbled together modern technology and they have a strange currency, their own teeth. Big Bozz, Waaaaarrghlandia has currently several clans.


  • Weinersteinston - A nation founded by New European settlers. It changed from the republic government, to Imperialism, and now to its current communist form.


  • Y Fenni - The people of Y Fenni had been displaced from their homeland, a country called Avatarium, when the economy collapsed and it was unable to support it's population. After being rejected by numerous nations, they came upon a patch of land in the North of the country, and named it after their leader King Cadeyrn VIII's favourite cheese, or so the popular story goes. There is an bizarre rumour that another group of displaced people formed there own country, as this time nothing has been found, although investigations continue. The country is currently ruled by Queen Gaerwn II and is very active on International Relations as present.


Inactive Nations

  • Verse Chorus Verse - A civil rights lovefest nation of Central New America. Best known for its National Weed Stash, large forests, and dinosaurs.
