The Soverign State Of Y Fenni (Fennian : 'r Benadur Noda Chan Y Fenni) is a landlocked country in the PEEL region, bordered by Endangered Bigfeet the North East and New Sunset to the East. Mountainous, it is a technological haven.

History

- The people of Y Fenni had been displaced from their homeland, a country called Avatarium, when the economy collapsed and it was unable to support its population. After being rejected by numerous nations, they came upon a patch of land in the North of the country, and named it after their leader King Cadeyrn VIII's favourite cheese, or so the popular story goes.

- Y Fenni is a constitutional monarchy headed by its ruling king or queen. The current queen is Gaerwn II of Y Fenni, who succeeded upon her father's death 28 years ago. The parliament of Y Fenni, the Senedd, consists of 430 representatives chosen by the people.
- The parliamentary elections of 2055 resulted in the government of Dyfan Cyncad (National Party) being re-elected for a record fith straight term with the same leader.

- Y Fenni is situated in the North New America. The entire western border of Y Fenni is formed by the river. In its east, Liechtenstein rises to higher altitudes, its highest point, Mount Dyws 3'655 m (11'991 ft). In winter, the mountain slopes are well suited to winter sports.

- Despite its small geographic area and limited natural resources, Y Fenni has developed into a prosperous, highly industrialized, free-enterprise economy, and boasts a financial service sector and also living standard which compare favourably to those of the urban areas of Y Fenni's larger New North America neighbours. Advantageously business taxes, as well as easy Rules of Incorporation have induced about 26'000 holding companies to establish nominal offices in Y Fenni. Such processes provide about 30% of Y Fenni's revenue.
Demographics
