Beginnings

The Errinundera Football Association was the dream of the then Protector of Sport, filthyl, around the time of NationStates World Cup 4. The association was up and running in time for a season to be completed before World Cup 5 and for a national team to be entered.

President

The current president is ermainegree, elected by a vote of all affiliated clubs.

Premiers

Domestic seasons have been run to coincide with each NSWC. With NSWC 32 approaching the EFA has completed 28 seasons.

Divisional Structure

Currently the EFA has 2 divisions with the bottom 3 of each division relegated at the end of each season. The top three teams of division 2 are promoted. There is a non-divisional team knockout competition each season and the top 3 placed teams earn a place in division 2.

(For the season 29 to coincide with NSWC 32.)

Premier League

Deddick, Pinnak and Butchers Ridger were relegated to the 2nd Division and replaced by Murrindal, Gelantipy and Malinns.

Second Division

Club Terrace, Cabanandra and Hayden's Bog were relegated to the regional leagues and replaced by Glen Arte, Coast Range and Martin Creek.

  • 10 Deddick (all to the 2 McKillops Bridge teams)

The B.C.G (Bonang Cricket Ground)

  • Location: Bonang
  • Capacity: 101,000
  • Notable Feature: Home of the Gonads

The Biodome

  • Location: Waratah Flat
  • Capacity: 36,000
  • Notable Feature: Lightweight bioframe roof

The B Triple R (Bemm River Recreation Reserve)

  • Location: Bemm River
  • Capacity: 35,000
  • Notable Feature: Built in the middle of the river

The Cavern

  • Location: Mount Ellery
  • Capacity: 52,000
  • Notable feature: Undergound, below the 3,000m Mount Ellery

Frosty Hollow

  • Location: Rooty Break
  • Capacity: 45,000
  • Notable Feature: Sunken pit with giant forest up to edge

Liberation Stadium

  • Location: McKillops Bridge
  • Capacity: 83,000
  • Notable Feature: Commemorates the 1941 liberation

Milosis Coliseum

  • Location: McKillops Bridge
  • Capacity: 41,000
  • Notable feature: clifftop stadium with panoramic views

National Downfall Stadium

  • Location: First Creek Falls
  • Capacity: 64,000
  • Notable Feature: 50m Hairy Man Falls dominates one end

New Glumbog

  • Location: Rodger River
  • Capacity: 78,000
  • Notable Feature: the crowd doesn't chant or cheer; they hum

Ootopia Forest

  • Location: Fanny Moo
  • Capacity: 61,000
  • Notable Feature: in a broad, shallow gully surrounded by rainforest

McKillops Bridge South Secondary College Sports Oval

  • Location: McKillops Bridge
  • Capacity: 650
  • Notable Feature: 1,300 people were crushed when 250,000 turned up to a hastily arranged round-robin qualifying match in WC6

Wulgulmerang Recreation Reserve

  • Location: Wulgulmerang
  • Capacity: 2,000
  • Notable Feature: 8,000 (with temporary seating) viewed WC6 qualifying match
